Every day use
I have used this model of razor for several years. This is a replacement for my last EJ DE89 that lasted 11 years. I normally shave at least twice a week but it was a daily task before retirement. The DE89 is mildly aggressive. I use Feather blades and the shave is very comfortable. If a beginner to this type of shaving watches his technique, and takes their time, it is a perfect razor to learn with and then continue in daily use for a long time. I have tried many different makes and styles but this razor remains a close friend.

Wow. I love it
I switched to this after my wife suggest I try it. I am never going back to disposable razor multi blades again. I always got ingrown hairs with with multi blades and electrics. I tried dozens. I have been shaving for weeks with this and only got one right in the crease by the corner of my mouth. On top of that the price of multi blades always annoyed me. I got 100 blades here for $8.

More aggressive than the Merker
I like it, but after several years of using a Merker, I had to use a lighter touch to avoid cutting myself. Once I figured it out, it's a better razor.

Great Razor!
I started with this, and have since moved on to a more aggressive razor. Good starting razor, but you will get better shaves, once you master the angle. that is all.

Poor quality, stripped threads in only 12 uses
This razor felt decent, but is of poor quality. The threads that secure the handle to the head stripped after only 12 changes of the blade. This renders the razor useless. Seller only offers 30 day refund window despite inferior product.

Stunning Looking
This thing looks like a work of art the chrome is so shiny. It's built really, really well.

Not made to last
I love this razor except for the fact that it stripped out after 2 years. It feels very durable but it is now a 2 piece paperweight because of threads. Debating on buying another one or changing brands.

Great razor. Better than Merkur 34c
Better than Merkur 34c. I bought both and get a more aggressive shave using the same blades.
