Terraria - PlayStation 4

Fun game. Great quality.

I've played through Terraria numerous times over the years on PC. Every time a major update came out I would play through it again with my cousin and friend. The PC version is better than console because the game really plays best with mouse and keyboard, but once you get used to playing with a controller it's just as fun, but just not quite as intuitive. The game is only about $10 on Steam, but I like having a physical PS4 copy too, especially because I managed to catch it for just $5 recently. I absolutely recommend the game, whether you play it on PC or consoles. Just have some self respect and don't play it on a phone unless you've got a controller peripheral.

I got this for my kid and she loves it. This, Minecraft, and Fortnite are her go-to games. As for me, I think it's fun and it looks like the video games I had as a kid. So I like it too.

If you have the PC version, the downgrade is cringe. If the controls are just... the controls... ugh. Make the controls better and it's a five star. However, the game play of terraria is phenomenal and the developers are constantly doing renovations to the game. I know because they specifically addressed the controls issue for this version. Terraria holds number one spot right now. This version is not up to par, but that makes me more disappointed than mad, because the company is fantastic, the game is fantastic, and the community is fantastic, and that's why I already have three versions of this game.

This is a great game if you're kids love Minecraft and Roblox, I think my kids might actually prefer this if it had online multiplayer games with friends because it's amazing and definitely worth a shot. Price point was affordable and came in brand new condition with plastic. Perfect gift for any RPG game lovers.

Love this game, ever since I played the demo way back on ps3 I was hooked, at first it seems like a 2d minecraft and that not a bad thing, eventually as you progress and get better gear and start digging deeper and unlock hard mode everything gets insane and I'm so glad the PS4 and Xbox one are updated to the newer versions, but sad the previous gen was left in the dust, I understand that some of this game takes more to run and process though, and am looking forward to the next few terraria games!

So ready to play it

While I would be giving this game 5 stars because both of my boys (ages 7 & 9) really LOVED it... it has now been cut down to 2 stars. They had their data corrupted (I don't know totally what happened) but it ended the first time with an hour straight of crying like babies and then a renewed determination (with experience under their belts) to recreate what they lost. Then about two or three weeks later, it happened AGAIN. This was even worse than before with about 2-days straight of crying and hopes that mom could somehow recover their lost data. I did my internet research and found this had happened to other people. My kids are now boycotting the game but may go back to it in a month or two. Very frustrating... I don't want to encourage them because if it were to happen again, it will be my fault for wanting them to play again.
