Okay. Both actors have fun in their roles. Watched it once, kept it, but may not watch it again. We'll see.

Just My Luck (starring Lindsay Lohan and Chris Pine) plays with the question of just how much does a person do to create their luck and how much of that good luck is a result of something else. Nonetheless, Lindsay Lohan plays a highly successful and sought after public relations representative/communications associate related who has the golden midas touch when it comes to the professional projects that she works on. As a result, she is living the good life in Manhattan. Jake (played by Chris Pine), on the other hand, is trying his hardest to change his life around for himself and a band that he helped promised to promote. A chance meeting at a New York party/event causes Ashley to unintentionally switch her good luck with Jake. Some examples of Ashley’s luck: ending up with a drycleaned dress that is worn by Sarah Jessica Parker (known for playing Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City) and she wins multiple scratch offs that she enters. There is much more to Just My Luck and is great for those who want to see public relations/communication job themed movies, Lindsay Lohan, or Chris Pine’s acting in action right less than a few years before he starred in the popular re-make of the Star Trek movie series.

This has become a family favorite. Yes, predictable in some ways, but there are enough surprises and fun characters to keep the laughs coming. You feel their pain and the joy… It is 4 stars because the acting COULD be better for some roles.

Not happy with this purchase! It was obviously a repackaged and used DVD. It is double sided and not very clean with tons of scratches. I have watched only the full screen side so far and luckily, it had no skips.

This was a funny movie with Lindsay like she used to be. Chris Pine player a nerd for half of the movie but then turns into a hottie with a heart of gold. This movie is about being Lucky. I would recommend it for a romantic comedy that's crazy with music with a British band if it were any better they could of had One direction play the band.
