Highly functional product and fixed the issues I was having with fuel pressure

I recently installed the A-Premium Fuel Pump in my 1996 Jeep Cherokee, and I must say, it has been a complete game-changer. 1999 Cherokee XJ - Great value for the money. I save over $100 compared to buying OEM. Fit perfectly, connector looks (likely is) exactly like OEM. I was losing pressure at the fuel rail, making the Jeep hard to start. After replacing the fuel pump it starts up immediately now. Dropping the fuel tank was “fun” for sure. One of the long strap bolts broke, even after I had put penetrating oil on several times in advance. But beyond that, everything went smoothly. I suggest getting a friend to help reinstall. Definitely make sure tank is almost empty. I had to siphon gas from the vent hole, after it was out of the Jeep, in order to lift it back in place. The gas fill hole has some sort of anti-hose (keeps people from stealing gas I guess) in the larger gas fill opening. I couldn’t get a hose down it, which is why I used the smaller vent hole. Note: The Fuel Pump was nicely packaged for shipment to me.

6 month later after getting a return and having to do double the work the fuel pump again is going out don’t buy this

I’ve put one of these in my old Cherokee and just installed another in a current jeep. They work like they should. Same brand and same pump. They work great. The problem is, they do not read correctly. They will always read 1/4 tank off, unless you bend the metal rod to match the factory one. See photos for reference. Aside from that, you really can’t beat the price on the assembly. If you need a quick and cheap solution, then this is for you.

Installed in my 2000 jeep cherokee 4.0 almost a year ago, around 5-10k miles. Part fit was good, fuel gauge works, pump works.

Esta bomba de gasolina es de muy buena calidad, silenciosa, y el marcador de nivel, marca exacto, muy importante para no tener que ajustar el flotador, ya que es muy tedioso ese ajuste, en general el vehículo enciende a la primera, lo que indica que o pierde presión, el conector fue el indicado,(Hembra)., sin complicaciones, exelente opcion.

It is very similar in design and build to OEM. I actually used the aluminum body since my original was in bad shape, and then used my original level sender and top part with the original pressure regulator after cleaning all the parts, and also used a Bosch fuel pump, so everything went fine. Therefore, I can't really comment on the A Premium pump, regulator or level sender.

Since you can't replace the sending unit on its own you have to replace the pump. - very similar in design to OEM. - works good. Time will tell. Fuel gauge works now
