Great for extra practice
This book has great content starting with easy tasks and gradually progressing. It appears to be fairly challenging for a 2nd grader which is exactly the goal - extra practice besides our main homeschool curriculum.

Awesome writing workbook
Got this for my boy who is going to be a 2nd grader this September. I like how it leads them from writing short phrases to putting them together into a passage. I encourage my boy to fill up all the lines provided and he tries his best to do so. Would definitely buy the next grade next year. Highly recommend!

My son now loves writing!
My son is in second grade and does not like writing. I got this book for the summer hoping that it will help him practice. He just finished lesson 12 and wrote like 3 times as much as required. He had so much fun working on his story. This book helps them focus on adding details to the story and on how to make their story more interesting. Highly recommmend!
