Generals indeed! Love how the each life was assessed. Truly appreciate how God used each one effectively! May my life be used effectively to the Glory of God!

Arrived on time and in great condition. Also very informative

This is a well written, and as far as I can tell, a balanced account of some "normal" people who were willing to go the whole way with God. The author shows the troublesome side of life as well as the glorious one. While we may not all agree with one aspect or another of a believers life and doctrine, we can see, through the way God uses various ones, that He is bigger than our differences and able to overcome our mistakes, for the purpose of the eternal kingdom. It helps me to know that if I set my heart on following Jesus, he will always be all that I need. Sometimes much, much more. This book helps show how God will pour out all His resources that are necessary to accomplish his will, while always loving us as only a perfect daddy could. Every general starts as a private. The good ones never forget it's not about them, but the welfare of the kingdom they serve.

Great book

This is a great book if you're a Christian & a pentecostal or charismatic. Great read.

Enjoyed reading.

This is an over view of other peolpes ministries. Lairidan takes us up thriugh history of the most prominent evangelists of a certain period of time. The whole series Gods Generals is a clear view of where the church of Jesus Christ started and how we got here today. I recomend the entire series for enlightement into history.

This book is great if you want to read about the men and women that God mightily anointed to use for His glory. It's great to see not only how God used them, but also to learn of their humanity as well, such as the trails of life that they faced, and through their faith in God, were able to overcome. I highly recommend this book to those who may be wondering if God's power is still available today. Read it and you will see that no matter where you are, or who you are, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, and that he will use you for His glory, if you will be willing and obedient to Him!

Just a humble comment from France. I was so happy I could order this English book from Amazon.fr, this book is really, really fantastic, the biographies of all these God’s generals are just so, so encouraging. French people are not very used to the English language, really “dommage”.... I feel like “devouring” this book!!! Glory be to God!!!

An honest study of where these godly people succeeded - and where they failed. Better to learn from them who walked before us and gain wisdom from their lives - than possibly learning the hard way ourselves. Easy to read, precise studies on each person. A great resource for anybodys library and all people of all ages.
