Reinvent the wheel (aka thimble)
OhMy! I have been sewing for many years. Thimbles and finding the “right one” have always been my nemeses…until now. This thimble is perfect. The construction is genius. The silicone top portion helps secure the thimble without slipping like metal thimbles, but it still has the metal end piece for pushing needles. Highly recommend you try this!

I really like this thimbal
This has been the best one I have tried yet this thimbal fit securely on my finger. It feels comfortable to me and it stays on. I do like the fact that it comes in different sizes at some point I may offer order another size to use on a different finger because I find myself using more than one finger whenever I’m using a heavy fabric and my fingers get quite sore use these types of things are highly individualized. What might work for me may not be for you. But this was perfect for me. I really like it and right now. It’s my favorite one.

Comfortable and functional!
I'm a quilter and still do a fair amount of hand sewing, so finding the "fight" thimble is crucial. This one stays put, is comfortable and the metal tip allows for pushing a small needle through multiple layers of fabric from either the side of the finger or the very tip, depending on whether I'm doing applique, hand quilting or hand hemming a binding. They last a long time, but I've eventually worn out quite a few! I always keep a new one on "stand-by".

Awkward for slender fingers
I have pretty slender fingers and this thimble doesn't fit that great. The silicone part is a little too loose/stretchy to easily stay on my fingers-- I usually have to put it on my thumb or maybe middle finger, which is less handy for my embroidery projects. It also gets a bit sweatier than I anticipated. I still use this for the added grip (especially when sewing a patch on denim, when I need all the help I can to get through such. thick. material!), but I will use my all-metal thimbles if I don't need the added grip of the silicone. The quality is great, but the fit is awkward.

I really like this!!!!
i bought the medium. I have been sewing by hand my entire life. I always used the metal thimbles.. mainly because that's what I grew up using and never bothered to try something different.. but since I have small hands, they would always fly off. I decided to look for something different, and I had it narrowed down to this, and the leather one with the metal "coin".. but the leather one appeared too bulky and impractical.. so I decided to try this. I could not be more pleased. I am a 30-year-old woman, and have relatively small, slender hands. The medium fits perfectly on every single finger.. with the exception of being a little bit too big for my pinky, and a little bit snug on my thumb, even though they can still be worn on those digits. but in my opinion, that's to be expected. how could one size possibly fit every single one of your fingers.. if your hand is anatomically correct? lol, I'm jk, but this little thing is awesome. I love the way the silicone or rubber molds to my finger, while still being breathable, and I don't have to worry about it falling or flying off, like the metal ones did to me. also, the metal tip allows for that extra push when you're dealing with stubborn or thick material/fabric, etc. the MEDIUM also has a half inch metal band (yes, I just measured it with a tape measure) around the sides, so you can push using the sides as well. You don't necessarily have to point your finger down at it. this is fabulous. Even my mom, who has been sewing clothes by hand her entire life, as well, was skeptical, but after she saw and used it, she asked me to order her one. 👍

Comfortable
These are the only ones I will use. I’ve been hand quilting for almost 20 years. Doesn’t rub on finger. Lasts a very long time.

My favorite thimble
I have ordered a few types of thimble. This by far my favorite as it sticks to finger comfortably!
