Top notch affordable shampoo brush
Love these shampoo brushes! Fits in the palm of your hand and feels nice on the scalp. Works well in thinner hair if your moving in a circular motions and for thick hair if you go in a single direction. It helps me to keep a health flake free scalp. I've had a few of the brushes break off, but I may have been getting lost in the euphoric feeling of a good head scratch and pressing too hard.

Great for More Than Just Shampoo!
I got this Scalpmaster Shampoo Brush for my teenage daughter, and she loves it! Although it’s meant for the scalp, she uses it to comb hair products through her thick curls, and it works perfectly to ensure even distribution. The bristles glide through without pulling, and they feel gentle yet effective. The brush is sturdy, long-lasting, and easy to clean. The purple color is super cute, too. It's definitely a must-have for anyone with thick or curly hair!

Better than expected.
This thing really helps with dry skin on my scalp. It does its job well. I've been using mine for a few months and none of the bristles have broken and it's kept its stiffness. I use it before i shampoo, during, and after to get as much of the dry skin off as possible and its made my dry scalp much much more manageable. The holder is just right for your middle finger to hold it on your scalp while shampooing. The bristles are just long enough to hit the scalp without being so long that they easily tangle hair. They are just stiff enough to scrub well without being so stiff that they break easily or don't give a little with pressure. I normally wouldn't give such a high review to a cheap little piece of imported plastic, but it really does it's job.

Not sure it's best for long /thick hair
Pros: -Easy to use, very straightforward -Less itchy scalp after FIRST use -Tightly packed bristles do help to lather shampoo well Cons: -Very thin, hard bristles make it very "scratchy", so you have to apply *very* little pressure to keep it gentle -Thicker or longer hair can get tangled into this very easily - you should start at the bottom and comb through to gently work your way upward -Finger grip is a little too large for any one of my fingers, and too small for two fingers I personally stick to the rule to shampoo only my roots / scalp area and whatever product gets on the ends is all I really use for them. Because of this, I start straight on my scalp after I wet my entire head. Unfortunately, this approach does NOT work for this brush because long hair needs to be "worked upwards" in order to not get everything super tangled when you use it. Initially, I tried going straight for my crown, and immediately noticed that my hair was tangled around the brush. The only way I could adequately get the brush to lather my shampoo on the scalp was to start at the ends of my hair, brush slowly to get out any knots, and then I could successfully use it on the top of my head. Overall, this brush does what it is supposed to do -- I find that my scalp feels cleaner and less itchy, with less dandruff than before, after just the first wash. I just think it would be easier to use if your hair was thinner or shorter, so it doesn't take as long to get to your actual scalp area. I would like a softer bristle also, but once you get the learning curve of how much pressure to apply, it's not that bad. For the price, I would recommend trying this product out for yourself if you're thinking of getting one.

Feels great, detangles hair, rejuvenates scalp!
I have used this for only 11 days but already my hair is free of all flakes and my scalp is no longer clogged by that pesky buildup of dense, oily, white, dead skin cells. This reminds me of the curry combs used on horses and functions in much the same way, removing dander and loose hair and increasing blood flow, leaving my head tingling and happy. I sometimes add a little shampoo directly to the brush and find that it works up a good lather and ensures that every part of my hair and scalp has been cleansed. I am currently using Maple Holistics Sage Shampoo once or twice a week and Malibu C chlorine removal shampoo and conditioner after the swimming pool, about five times a week. I have very thick hair that is also very fine and I am quite surprised that this brush helps to detangle while I rinse the shampoo, even before I apply conditioner! Wow! I vigorously scrub all areas of my scalp, then use short strokes, starting at my forehead and temples and working my way backward toward the nape of my neck. I detangle while the shampoo rinses, then condition. The brush is lightweight, a good size for my medium-small hands, and the bristles have the right amount of flex and rigidity to deliver results and a delightful massage. I'm not sure how long the brush will last as it does not appear to be very durable, but for the price and the results, I can't complain. I recommend and will purchase again!

If you get a lot of dead skin build-up this is an ideal tool with which to remove it in the shower. Just get in there, get thoroughly wet and then give your whole hide a good ol' scrape with this thing. Apart from exfoliation it also feels kinda invigorating. Recommended.

Been using for a couple months now and still remains intact. It’s a durable product and does a satisfactory job at massaging my scalp as bristles were harder than expected though.
