Q: will it work on 32 bits computers as well?

No. These are for the more modern 64-bit computers. The reason other posters have not mentioned is because there are a total of 64 bits, or pieces. 32-bit computers use kits that have just 32 bits. You need the smaller version of this kit for those.

Q: Does this have Security torx bits?

It has Torx Security #'s TR6, TR7, TR8, TR9, TR10, TR15, TR20 and TR25 only.

Q: How sturdy is the tray that holds the bits? (Example: Do I have to worry about them falling out accidentally)

It is a foam based tray, so the bits stay in place, even if you turn the tray upside down. They won't fall even if you shake the tray while upside down. Also the lid is held in place by magnets. Very nice tool set. Just get it!
