My biggest challenge has been to find a shower head that would still keep the water flow rate reducer built in but still have enough spraying pressure power to massage my scalp! At least on the high spraying setting! The ones that I have tried from the likes of HD were such where I had to remove the water flow rate in order to get the desired pressure. Water is expensive. Not this marvel of German engineering. When I got it, I immediately looked for the water rate reducer (usually seated inside the shower head's handle) and could not see it. But before I returned it, I give it a whirl and it performed like a champ! It blew me away! I think I'm gonna buy a second one to make sure I'm set for the next 20 years. My scalp will thank me for it! Other than my little requirement which this model performed it in spades, the built of this thing is what you'd expect from a Made in Germany quality product. Fits well in hands. The spraying settings are all wonderful and sufficient for a nice and effecting showering/cleaning. Very easy to change from one setting to the next and back. Very happy with it! Well done! Grohe is a great company!

I thought I ordered a replacement Grohe Relexa hand shower but the new version of Relexa has the same body contour as this hand shower, which is to say that this hand shower is not a good replacement for the design of the original Relexa hand shower that Grohe produced for at least 20 years. The base of the hand shower is a smaller circumference and does not rest firmly in the height adjustable yoke designed to hold the shower head when not manually directed. It is difficult to position the yoke in a manner that doesn't act like a side body spray. The variable spray director does not have the familiar thumb nob to change from one setting to another, and soapy hands make adjusting the spray challenging. The water massage setting is a pale comparison to the power of the massage setting on the Relexa. I wish I I had shopped around a bit more to find a genuine old dersign Relexa. Which I will certainly keep an eye out for. I have been a vocal supporter of Grohe fixtures for years and have installed bath and kitchen product in several renovations. I am concerned that quality control on Chinese manufacturing is having a negative impact on reliability: I have had 3 shower hoses fall apart after less than one month use because the flexible metal sheathing has not been secured at the hose end attaching to the wall outlet. On balance, after 23 years of use in my principal home, the Starlite chrome finish looks dazzling when wiped clean and I have never had a valve leak on any faucet. Give us back the original Relexa and fix the shower hose problem

This shower is so much better than the waterpik one that I replaced it with. It looks great, installed onto the existing hand shower hose easily, and produces a really good shower considering its low flow rate. I've noticed already how much cleaner my hair feels - no joke. Note: When I first installed it it was not working properly - it was pulsing with a really weak flow in the "Rain O2" setting. But then I discovered that my existing hand shower bracket/hose had a flow restrictor in it. After removing that, it works perfectly. So if you're having problems, keep that in mind. This thing has its own internal flow regulator, and doesn't perform as well if you try to use a second external one.

Nicer than the one it replaced. Hard water in Las Vegas tears plumbing stuff up, but the soft nozzle holes allow fingertips to clean lime build up easily.

I bought this for a dedicated hand shower sprayer in addition to the rain shower head I have in a new home. It really works beautifully. Perfect amount of water and spray patterns.

Really like the spray options on this shower head. No sign of the sprays clogging yet after a year or so of use. Lightweight yet feels well made -- a good buy.

Came on time. Bought to replace an existing Grohe shower head that had cracked. we have 2 showers and this was the main bathroom which the kids/guests use, so a few settings on the head was ample. Ours in the en suite has more. To be honest though, how many do you really use ? My 13 year old son remarked the massage setting is wow !. My daughter just happy the shower works again without spraying water everywhere. Went on really easy, would def. recommend for the price it's great.
