I really like working with this wire, it's very flexible and easy to strip, solder, or ferrule. It's been a staple in most of my electronics projects. The silicone insulator doesn't melt while soldering; very durable and heat resistant.

i've been using this for a lot of low-voltage LED projects recently. -very easy to strip without cutting any of the strands -it is tinned copper. I did send some of the strands down and can see the copper under the tin. -great price -the overall diameter of the stranded wire is appropriate to the AWG and larger than other cables I've seen with the same size labeled Cons: -the silicon insulation is very soft and easy to nick with anything sharp Insulation is super soft and easy nick. Where that happened, it did not get close to going through but, still, I would not use it anywhere I was concerned it could be a abraided. In a car, I would definitely use wire loom around it. Current capacity is very good; Out of curiosity tested this 18 AWG wire with 7A @24V for 20 minutes and it did not get warm. I intend to stay at 4A or below, so that was very reassuring

The BNTECHGO 14ga / 2.5mm² dual conductor red and black wire has thick soft silicone insulation and wire composed of very many extremely fine threads, rendering it extremely flexible. I found it to be a good choice for heated bed wiring on a 3D printer which must pass 12 amps of current in a hot environment while constantly moving back and forth.... sometimes for several hours. This wire is capable of handling the heat, constant flexing and current for hours on end but is only as good as the terminations and strain reliefs. As the original wiring this replaced failed at a crimp connector made with a plain crimp of shallow depth in a tubular insulated connector, I recommend die-crimped "open barrel" wiring eyelets with an extended crimp zone rather than generic crimping of 1-2mm depth in a standard tubular eyelet. Fortunately, Amazon sells a suitable crimper, the IWISS 1424A Although this wire solders well, I don't recommend soldering for high current loads as it adds electrical resistance. and causes relative brittleness at the solder joint.

柔らかいケーブルに、中の線もしっかりしています。 2020/01/21 追記 主に車のカスタマイズや室内のLEDテープに使ってきましたが、高いだけあって－10℃以下の低温でも柔らかく耐熱温度が高いのでエンジンルーム内や室内で配線回しに重宝しています。 高いので、場所と選んで使っています。

Filo di ottima qualità , davvero molto morbido il silicone e il filo ha una caduta di corrente davvero minima. Io l'ho utilizzato per realizzare un impianto led a casa a 24 volt. Peccato che sia un po' caro

very fine stranded wire, tin-coated for corrosion protection, solders like a charm (considering the very find multi-strand wire) and with very rugged silicon insulator. It is also highly flexible at all temperatures. I LOVE this brand / serie of wire.
