This little contraption does everything it promises. It is light and easy to use. Fits a standard tripod. It is of good quality. And it comes with a nice little remote.

Fits my iPod perfect and very sturdy

The mount works great, and there are two places to screw in a 1/4 in tripod screw. After a while, I just used the upper portion to eliminate the possibility of the camera rotating on the lower portion, but I can see if you want portrait instead of landscape photos, the lower portion would be necessary. The mount portion gets 5/5, but I couldn't get the remote shuttle to work with my Samsung Galaxy S21, so that is where it lost a point.

Easy to set up. Quick fit to various cameras and holds cameras securely even when fitted with selfie monitoring screen. Came with Bluetooth remote that works with my cameras and iPhone16. Well built, designed for ease of use, doesn't add a lot of extra weight to tripod and can be adjusted quickly to work with changing scenes.

Nicely manufactured product that should hold up through active use. The cold on the top adjustment knob is useful for added accessories, and the rigid clamps w/ rubber inserts holds the phone very secure. The 1/4x20 threaded mounting locations on the arm and the clamp itself, along with another usable one on removal of the arm, offer plenty of connection points. The Remote: While it offers a button for an iPhone and another (smaller) button for Android devices, I found that both buttons work the same with my Android Note 8. I like that the remote has a physical on/off switch so battery won't accidentally see unexpected discharge. The remote features v3.0 Bluetooth and I've tested the distance to +25' accuracy [mfg. states 30']...perfect for remote triggering. I have only used this for still photography, but mfg. says it should work with video capture too [though some video apps might be finicky]. No special/battery sucking app needed to function... just bluetooth from your phone, pair it up and Bam, you're in biz!!! Since I will be using this remote in an "inspection work" environment, I wish the remote was USB rechargeable or would let me.power it w/ USB cable. I'd be willing to pay a bit more for a better rechargeable/USB remote. Mfg. states battery capacity is 10 uses/day lasts 60 days. [Looks like I may need alot of (2032) batteries???] Price vs benefits = 100 Hope this helps your decision.

The best camera you have is the one you have with you. Today that often means our smartphones. One of the best ways to get the best possible photos & videos is with a tripod adapter that allows a smartphone to be attached to a standard tripod. Here are my likes & dislikes with this KobraTech solution: Likes: * Screw design makes for a very secure hold on your phone compared to cheaper spring mounts * The tripod mounts are metal so should last * The grips for the phone are ridged and rubberized for a safe, secure hold * The adjustment knobs for securing the phone and rotating it both seem to work well * Includes a bluetooth remote (not yet tested) Dislikes: * The body is plastic and has some give to it -- looks like it could be broken if too much force is applied. Would be much nicer if the body (and other parts) were made of aluminum. * The foot could have been designed to be arca-swiss plate compatible w/o adding to the cost. This would have added value. * The color is limited to basic black with the KobraTech name and logo I have the MeFoto Sidekick360, which is vastly superior in build quality, more attractive, and is arca-swiss compatible. I far prefer that, but it is almost double the price (and no remote). Browsing Amazon, I am seeing quite a few adapters that look very similar to the KobraTech, but at nearly 1/3 the price. Unless you really, really want the bluetooth remote (not a big draw for me), I would either go for one of these cheaper adapters w/o a remote, or if you think you'll use this often, go for the MeFoto adapter (note: an issue with the MeFoto is that you need to buy the right size for your phone; this KobraTech adapter is universal). This is a very helpful accessory to have, and it is not a bad product. Given the cost compared to similar products on Amazon, however, along with the list of dislikes above, I am only giving this 3 stars.
