SilkCut Professional Shear & Thinner Case - Razor Sharp Blade, Ergonomic Handle

My HS daughter is a budding hairdresser and we bought these on the recommendation of her hair stylist. They are great entry level shears. My daughter mostly uses them to trim my bangs and they don’t damage my hair. These will hold her over until she gets to cosmetology school and invests in a professional pair.

Great and professional. I wish I had bought at least 6 inch as I didn’t realize that five is just a little short for me but otherwise they are good, very sharp.

I’ve only used the shears so far this week, and I love that they cut so smoothly. I’ve always used 6 inches but you didn’t have that available so I went with 5.75 and I love them. I hope they stay sharp.

I love the fact that the tension of both the shear and the thinner can be adjusted for each individual's hands. Makes it much easier to get a clean cut and the thinner gives dimension to the hair. The finger ring inserts also are a great add - helps you get the right fit with for ease of trimming. I would certainly recommend this Silk Cut duo.
