The Penguin Knitting Book: Includes Patterns for over Sixty Garments

Super compilation of old classic Patterns. It is good for beginners and the experienced knitters!

This is a cute book, but clearly overpriced on Amazon. The quality of the book is ok (not great), leaving one with the impression that the book may be a seconds print. Sad. As you can see, the price of the book at a bookstore would be 299 rupees. Sold to me by Amazing _buy on Amazon at 398. Now I see it being sold at 799. Do not be fooled.

It had old designs and instructions which I like but the downside is the print quality which is faded and reading is not such a pleasure as I thought it would be!

I got it for my grandmother, and she loves it. With a caveat, though. The designs are retro, and this is my grandmother speaking. So that's that.

The price of the book is 399 and it's being sold for 799. That's almost double the price. It has very old patterns and very few images. Don't go for it.

great book for all knitters

Published in 1957 this is an excellent source for original 1950’s fashion. If it’s 1950’s designs you want this is for you.

I had this book years ago, when I used it to knit various items from it for my family members. Then I lost the book when I moved home; I am so glad I found it on Amazon. Great book for learners too.

Turned out to be quite a little book. Yet information is always what I'm seeking so it fits my own needs.
