Go FISH. These are very tough and sharp hooks
You can't go wrong with Gamakatsu hooks a no Brainerd but keep in mind there are some really good other brands out there without brake in the bank . I bought these at Amazon.

Awesome
I use Gamakatsu for pretty much all my fishing. I also catch my own bait some of which are perch. When I saw these little Gamakatsu circle hooks I jumped on them. I tie the same snell knot I use for bigger circle hooks. I’m catching more bait because I almost never miss a bite. They hook themselves just like the catfish do. The key to make them work the best is the knot. You have to tie a snell with the line from your rod going through the back of the hook towards the circle. This makes the hook perform properly.

The best you can get.
Gamakatsu hooks are some of the best available. I use them for freshwater as well as salt. I have never found a faulty hook or one that was not sharp. They may cost a little more. But they are worth the extra lettuce.

Great hooks
I love circle hooks. They're not very common in the smaller freshwater sizes, hence ordering from Amazon, but they work great. Especially when you need to catch and release, these hooks tend to set in the mouth the majority of the time so it's very easy to get out and the fish is still good to go. They're a little bit different to use, you have to train yourself to letting the fish hook itself. At first that was very difficult for me. I would get a bite and set the hook and the fish would be gone. But after chillin' out a little bit, and letting the fish bite, then turn and try to leave with it's "meal", it hooks right in the corner of the mouth and then you make sure it's taut and start the fight!! Because of this they're great hooks for drinking beer!! As far as Gamakatsu brand, love them!!! They're the only hooks I use anymore, extremely shart and durable!!

Too small for panfish
I love Gamakatsu hooks. I've used them for all sorts of species in all sorts of configurations. These are sharp and everything I expect Gamas to be. OTH, I fish for big bluegills and have found that along with big bluegills come small bluegills. I purchased size 6 circle hooks with the idea of reducing any mortality. The first 3 fish I hooked were all small and all gut-hooked. Dead meat. So, I ran down to the local tackle shop where I found some size 2 light wire circle hooks and returned to my fishing. Every one of the next 20 fish, from 3 inches to 12 inches (yeah a toad) were hooked right in the hinge and easily released. No, a size 2 circle is not too big for gills, but a size 6 is a killer. 10 would be way too small for safety. I'll be fishing for trout in a few weeks and will see if the size 6 hooks fare better.

Best hooks for catfish, and bass!
These are the best brand of hooks. They are easy to get out of the fish’s mouth. I bought these on the advice of my father who has been fishing for 65 years and definitely use them for all my fishing.
