Great boots
I really like these boots. Took a bit to break in, about a week of constant wear. They're very warm, I wore these during sub zero temperatures and snow in Chicago. I also wear these in California in rain and they keep my feet dry. They are a bit heavy, not the lightest boots. They are true to size. They seem to grip well in icy conditions. They are stylish and will work well for me being out and about around town. The leather is soft and supple, be sure to treat the leather with a conditioner so the boots will last. Style wise, these have a goofy little red tag that says "Waterproof", totally unnecessary. Other than that I love these boots and I recommend them. I do believe they're worth the money.

Great for the husband doing any job
I’ve been wearing these men’s boots for a while, and they’ve consistently impressed me. The construction is durable, with quality stitching and a sole that handles rough terrain without slipping. They break in nicely and become very comfortable after the first few wears. On top of that, their style strikes a nice balance — rugged enough for work or outdoor use, yet stylish enough for casual wear. Great for anyone looking for dependable boots that last. So glad I bought these!

Working out well
I got these boots after getting another pair from another manufacturer that were supposed to be better boots that didn’t fit my heel at all. These are much more comfortable you don’t slip in the heel like the other ones did. My coworker and friend has several pairs of these that he has worn in the past and seems to get some pretty good life out of them. Some of the reviews will talk about the souls wearing out, which I can’t speak to personally, but something should be kept in mind…These are anti-slip boots. So the rubber is not going to be a very hard rubber. Still, my friend got two years or more out of his working every day on the job so I’m not gonna complain. These things are very comfortable and take almost 0 break In. The lacing is pretty straightforward. There’s only one of those hook things on the very top and it is very nicely shaped so that it doesn’t wear out your laces like many of them do. I personally don’t cinch it up very tightly around the ankle because it does add a bit of pressure to that area for me at least. These are way more comfortable than all of the Red Wings I tried on. I just couldn’t find any Red Wings that I thought would work for me despite really wanting to have a pair. Nice thing about these boots is that they don’t have any heel on them so for ladder work, and walking rooftops and such they are much safer and you can kind of feel what you’re doing more. Perhaps right out of the box they feel a bit stiffer, but that very quickly goes away. I’m pretty happy with the purchase, for half a day‘s wages, I’m not going to begrudge anything. Well worth it in my opinion. Way better than those crappy cheap boots where the bottom peels off. I’ve had way too many of those. You’ll probably buy five or six pair of those in the time it takes one of these to wear out. Finally, I’ve been spraying them off with a water hose after working with concrete all day, and yes the waterproofing seems to be working. Weather appears to be holding up well so far and it’s nice and soft. Size wise I would order true to your foot. I started off going with a 13 and edit up ordering a size down. Actually mine is a Wide to accommodate my wide feet, and they do that nicely. Worst case scenario, you don’t like them, you can return them. It’s pretty simple to do, and I had to do that with my first pair because they were too big. So no worries there.

Great boot to work in or keep nice
Very comfortable boot. Generally very good in wet areas. Great looking if you want to keep them nice. Pretty good work boot if you get them dirty and wet. Soles do not have much tread. I don’t noticed them slipping. But little tread. Actually that keeps the mud from collecting I suppose. For the price, an excellent boot. I bought one pair to work in and one to keep nice.

perfect for what I need
I saw a lot of reviews that these are not good work boots I disagree. for the price they are a good entry level Mock toe boot. obviously you can’t compare them to Red Wing or Thorogood boots. but Red Wing boots are $400 boots. they work perfectly for what I need them for. they are much lighter in weight than other boots that I’ve had in the past which fits my purpose.

A misunderstood boot. If I wanted Red ....
A misunderstood boot for sure. If I wanted to splurge for Red Wings or other name brand boots in the $300-350 range, that is what I would have purchased. This is a semi-serious work boot in the $150 range. If you are a destroyer of boots these are not for you. To wear around the house and to go shopping in, to have good ankle support at age 66 makes these nigh on perfect. Recently I retired and no longer need anything more durable than these. I only purchased these for two reasons. Better support than sneakers and the hipster look that seems so popular. If I get 3-4 years of good comfortable service from these, wearing them an average of 3-4 hours daily, then these boots are money well spent. If they disappoint or exceed my expectations I'll mention it here in a update. Can't maintain Red Wings or other, often resoled premium brand boots for $40 a year. Their crepe type soles don't last any longer IME. The pros of the boots: Extremely comfortable. The leather is soft but not limp, and is easy to get on and off because the leather gives a little. Fits well across the upper side of the arch. Width is spot on, no pinching or slipping. The heel cup and arch are becoming comfortable after wearing about 5 times. There is plenty of room in the toe box without being sloppy. Cons: The size 13 is just a bit too large. I'm close though, a thicker sock makes them just right. Summary is simple, these boots fit great, are comfortable within a couple weeks and now that I'm retired look great at a fair price. Just as important as toughness in my new life. Update 5/23/2021: Have worn these now for 6 months and for approx. 150 hours. Still my go to choice for wearing for an day out and about. These are very comfortable boots. Soles show just a bit of wear and still have not had to polish these. Small scuffs rub out nicely with my Kiwi horsehair brush. Leather is still soft and supple but supports itself nicely. These boots get lots of compliments . Go figure. UPDATE: 03/11/2022 Wore these over the winter quite a bit. Still Comfortable, Have Been Durable, Still getting lots of compliments. UPDATE: 10/15/2022 Wore a few times over the summer, they still what I wear when I know I will be walking a lot. Very comfortable on long days running around. Winter is about here and I have worn them on cool days. My feet stay warm with Gold Toe boot socks. Update again next spring. UPDATE 10/15/2023 It was a hot summer and rarely wore these. Got them out the other day and brushed off the leather. Still looking good but could use some conditioning. Still very comfortable. Still get compliments. Here's to warm feet this winter. UPDATE 1/2/2025 Been wearing these some since September. Looking forward to wearing these in the upcoming cold snap. Conditioned and polished the uppers, still looking good. They still get compliments because they still look good.

Bikini Bottom Boots
I’ve had these boots for a while, really comfortable, look good, held up well for the most part…. But after a little while the layers of the sole on BOTH boots must’ve started separating, and now they squeak… on every step! I sound like SpongeBob!! I can’t go anywhere quietly and it doesn’t even matter if it’s wet or dry out, on concrete or carpet… the haunting squeak is there, every step… SpongeBob making his way across the parking lot. Walking across the jobsite? Squeak squeak squeak! Pros: Built tough, Look great, Instant comedic relief for everyone within earshot. Cons: Can’t sneak up on anyone. Ever.
