Synology DS218play 2-Bay NAS-case

Ich habe den Synology als Ersatz für meinen alten Synology Server gekauft. Mein alter Server fing plötzlich an zu spinnen and Fehlermeldungen zu geben,. Eine Festplatte hatte den Geist komplett aufgegeben und die andere war nicht mehr weit davon entfernt. Um meine Daten zu retten erschien es mir ratsam, einen neuen Server der selben Marke zu kaufen. So machte es mir recht einfach, die Sicherheitskopie des alten servers, auf einer externen Festplatte gespeichert, zu nutzen, um meine Daten wieder auf den neuen Server zu übertragen. Die ganze Haverie war eine Lehre für mich, keine normalen Festplatten für einen Server zu nutzen, sondern ein wenig mehr auszugeben für Serverfestplatten. Synology Server haben eine recht einfache, Windows-orientierte Benutzeroberfläche, die eine Einrichtung vereinfacht. Ferner, der Support is super, wenn man aus irgendeinem Grund plötzlich hängenbleibt. Nicht so super es ist, Ersatzteile zu bekommen. Ist die Mutterplatine hin, könnte man sie leicht ersetzen, wenn man eine Ersatzmutterplatine bekäme. Synology bietet aber keinen Ersatzteil-Service an, wenigstens nicht in Europa. Ist etwas kaputt am Server, muss man den kompletten Server auswechseln. Das ist nicht nur teuer, es ist auch unökologisch und unzeitgemäß. Ansonsten, meine Kaufempfehlung.

È il mio secondo Nas, dopo aver acquistato quest'ultimo non so davvero come facevo prima a starne senza!! È davvero ottimo, ha tante app, un'ottima interfaccia di gestione e la raggiungibilità dall'esterno è fantastica!!!

Livré très rapidement. Emballage soigné. Très facile à installer (prévoir un raccordement électrique et un réseau wifi à proximité). Le paramétrage est simple . La caméra peut être consultée et pilotée à distance par un simple smartphone. Les images sont de très bonnes qualités. Une alarme détection de personne peut aussi être paramétrée . Rapport qualité prix imbattable pour un produit de ce type

This is my first ever NAS unit. Simple hardware install. Simple and intuitive software configuration via Web interface. Works well; no problems at all. Elapsed time from opening the box to having my Windows Server begin backing up to the unit was about 75 minutes. From the first backup, it has been fast and flawless -- and yes, I verified a couple restored backups too. I bought the DS218play with a pair of WD 8TB NAS drives on Synology's compatibility list (wd80efzx - 68uw8n0). It automatically set them up with Synology's hybrid RAID configuration. I have not tested A/V transcoding yet. *** Update after 4 months of use *** Still working perfectly. I loaded quite a few apps on here, including a dynamic DNS DUC client, surveillance monitor that can records two of my IP cams, media server, secure FTP service, VPN, and more. The CPU rarely has to work hard, and the unit remains very responsive. I copied a bunch of 1080p videos to it, and on-the-fly transcoding through the Synology iOS and Android apps works very well.
