Well made hammer with a hard and semi-soft face. Great for bike work or whatever you need a hammer for. Be warned, it quite a bit bigger that expected, weighting in at 882 grams (30oz).

A while back I ordered several hundred dollars worth of wheel building tools from several different places, to build a $100.00 set of wheels for an early 80's road bike. Kind of like buying chickens to lay eggs so, you don't have to buy eggs. I have come up with the number 50 dozen eggs each of our chickens will have to lay to cover the cost of building a place for them to lay, sleep and crap. The blind one just gets to lie around and be treated like a pet by my daughter. Anyway, while ordering some of the items from Amazon, I came across this hammer. I thought to myself that I really needed that hammer, to go with all the other hammers I have. I didn't have one with a soft blue tip on one end. Now I have never used the hammer, but I have held it in my hands many times, dreaming of the right time in which I will get to use it. Also, it looks outstanding hanging on the peg board above my work bench, with the other park tools. That blue just pops out at you. If you're into owning tools that you don't really need, well this is one sweet tool!!!

Useful for bikes. It has a soft end and a hard end. Only 1 moving part (it) so what can go wrong?

Good hammer, bought it for the padded/bare dual option head. Perfect weight, trending towards the heavy side... nice balance too. Good price on this Park hammer, if you need a hammer for bicycle use (or just all around use really) this is a no-brainer... get one.

Another well built Park Tool product. Very solid, with just the right heft for knocking axles through bottom brackets. The nylon end (I think it's nylon) seems like it would be too hard to use without damaging the finish, but I bravely gave it a try on my (old) Gossamer hollowtech crank set and found that it preserves the finish very well. I'm sure the hardness makes it more durable, which is good, plus it appears to be replaceable. The rubberized grip is also comfortable and secure.

Works better than it should, and I routinely find myself reaching for it to tease stuck components. The plastic end works extremely well on delicate components, although it started showing wear after the first few strikes. The plastic face connects to the hammer's head with a male threaded screw that is easily swappable. It seems like Park could (and should) release additional attachments that thread on. The replacement is part #293, although I've had difficulty finding one in stock. The handle was peeling apart when I receive it due to inadequate glue, but I was able to fix with super glue.

Curiosamente es dificil, por no decir casi imposible encontrar un martillo que tenga por un lado acero y por el otro Nailon. Muy util para diferentes tipos de superficies, aunque si le hubiere que pones un pero es que es algo pesado, aunque no es ningun inconbeniente, por lo menos para mi.

Très bon comme souvent chez Park Tool, pratique d'avoir deux cotés sur le même marteau, j'en ai eu besoin pour sortir et remettre des roulements de moyeux DT Swiss, j'ai du taper fort donc il y a logiquement des marques mais le travail à été fait. Il y a deux modèles et c'est le plus grand / lourd, à mon avis c'est le plus adapté aux travaux sur un VTT (du genre sortir des roulements en tapant, ou l'axe du pédalier), je ne conseillerais pas de prendre plus petit.
