My 4 year old German Shepherd dog eats this food with enthusiasm. But he also does the same with Blue Wilderness dog food. My Veterinarian says This Royal Canin dog food is very good for my dog at this stage of his life (Adult). Blue Wilderness is also very good says my Veterinarian. I buy RC every now and and then as it is significantly more expense. Approximately $50 for twelve cans. I wish I could buy it more often.

My older 11 year old German shepherd was struggling w leg weakness. I started feeding her some Royal Canin and blue wilderness wet food toppers on her dry food to change it up and give her different nutritional supplements. She loves the taste and I mix it in with her dry food. I feel that the food is formulated specifically for a German Shepherd’s needs. I also give her glucosamine, chondrotin 5000, pawprint Dog Longevity Supplement NAD+ & NMN - Joint Health, Vitality & Healthy Aging.
