Black Powdered (Sanded) Grout - 2 Lbs

Worked great! Kept its color, too.

Super easy to use! I'd never done mosaics before but the instructions were clear and made it very approachable. I made enough for a single coaster by scooping ~3 tablespoons of grout with ~1 tablespoon of water into a disposable cup, mixing till it was mud, then applying to the mosaic with a wedge sponge brush. Dried overnight, looks amazing. Note that it dries more a dark charcoal grey rather than a true black but that seems to track with grout I've seen out in the wild; true black grout seems really rare.

It has a very coarse grain and is a bit lighter in color than I anticipated, but it’s easy to use and looks great.

I don’t know what is going with this brand of grout. I have been using it for about seven years and have always been pleased with it. I got a new order in and the color was like a very dark charcoal and usually when I get this item, you can tell it’s a rich black. And this time it was not I’m really disappointed in this grout. I hope they’re not changing the quality of the product. So I ordered black pigment powder and will try and make it a rich black like the original Jennifer brand use to be.

Easy mixing, easy application. Had a slightly faded appearance when dry.

This is great for Mosaic and worked well.
