Continuous recording didnt work nor did photo taking option.The option to record video with the b button video was the only option that worked and only on setup and 1st use. Unit did nothing on 3rd use. Trash product.

The camera is impressively discreet—completely blends into our living room décor, and no one has noticed it at all. The video quality is crystal clear during the day and surprisingly good even at night. Motion detection alerts are accurate without being overly sensitive, and I love that I can check in live or go back and review footage. Highly recommend this to any parent wanting to make sure their little ones are safe and well cared for. Worth every penny!

This camera has truly become a love/hate relationship for me as I love the quality of the picture, but it barely works and I've now returned I believe, my third or fourth one. What I LOVE about it: - The Size: The camera can easily be hidden as needed, and due to the two parts being split, you can move things around for greater flexibility of application. - The Picture: Whereas most cameras in this product line are 1080p, this one is 4k, or at least advertised as such. While I wouldn't compare it to a crystal clear super high resolution 4k picture, it's easily the greatest quality out of all the cameras I've tried (of the spy cam variety). What I HATE about it: - Simply put; it's highly defective. I love it enough to have purchased 3-4 of them, but I've had to return or just take a loss on all of them. Additionally, only one function works - the manually started record function. Motion detection doesn't work, I couldn't switch it to 30FPS, the picture function doesn't work. Simply put, you get one of the single functions advertised, and I can confirm this as consistent with every one I've purchased. - Sound rarely works: On one purchase, the unit I received failed to capture sound at all. On another unit, the sound was there, but had a ticking along side it. In one instance, the sound worked, but it failed for other reasons. - It overheats: The unit itself gets quite warm, and in other reviews you'll find that it will have melted the unit. It may be fine if left out, but at that point, it's not quite a "hidden camera". While I put this almost second to the frequency of having defects, it's actually quite concerning as it truly could be a fire hazard, or give itself away. - The instructions are rough and/or poorly translated. This could honestly be the cause for some of the perceived defectiveness, but with all my efforts, I could not make things work, and the instructions do not help at all. Conclusion: While this product is ridiculously defective, fails to do virtually anything it says it should do, it is still something I've purchased multiple times because the video quality is just better than the bulk of the spy cams out there. Therefore, I can't quite recommend it, but I also can't say a better product exists, at least not in terms of capturing sound (sometimes) and giving you a fairly decent picture when compared to 1080p. It's a total gamble but I keep rolling the dice.
