Outdoorchef Thermometer, SILVER

We bought this thermometer as an add-on for the now obscenely priced Omnia Oven. You will need to drill an additional hole to accommodate this thermometer if you are like me and a bit of a perfectionist, you will be drilling the holes BETWEEN the original Omnia openings in the lid! Why? Because you want to keep the airflow as intended and not block the holes with a Thermometer! Simple. The thermometer itself is nicely made, solid and with well laid out measures inside the dial. The bright green needle is also visible from a distance (even without glasses … for us older folk!), so you don’t need to sit next to the oven all the time. To insert the Thermometer, all you need to do, is take it out of the protective foam base (not included -made by myself!!), insert it into your drilled extra hole and secure it with the small thumb-screw from the inside of the oven lid. Done …. Simple and efficient. It all works beautifully and I might even buy a second one, in case I break this one somewhere on my travels. Decent product, well made, would buy again.

accurate at 100 c [boiling water] so a very good chance it will give correct BBQ temps. when smoking roasting etc.

Screw thread for mounting is D shaped, ideal if you have a pre formed hole. I drilled a hole through the barbeque (Weber) lid and it still fitted securely. My thermometer works very well and when cooking with the lid down is essential . I checked the temperature displayed against an electronic thermometer and it proved accurate at 100 and 200 degrees centigrade.

Bis auf das benötigte Bohren durch den Edelstahl Deckel bei meinem Weber Q2200 (altes Modell) was aber auch gut funktioniert hat, war die Befestigung super leicht und schnell gemacht. Das Thermometer liefert schnell und gut ablesbar die Temperatur. Ob das auch genau ist habe ich nicht nachgemessen. Für die Orientierung ist das Preis-Leistung Verhältnis aber top!

Remplacement de l'ancien thermomètre

Marca bien la temperatura. Fácil instalación. Importante tenerlo en cocciones como asados o pizzas para evitar que baje mucho la temperatura.

Montato su un BBQ weber, fa egregiamente il suo dovere. Facile da montare, basta un piccolo buco col trapano nella cupola, ed il gioco è fatto! Preciso nella misurazione, non ha mai avuto problemi e lo sto usando ormai da qualche anno, direi che è un ottimo prodotto ad un costo contenuto.
