The Orvis Fly-Tying Guide, Revised

A very good addition to my book shelf

Very helpful

This is a great book but.... The book pages started falling out. Obviously this is a manufacturing fault but I have only opened the book a few times to start learning fly tying and it has pages falling out. Shame. Tom Rosenbauer the author is a well respected fly fisherman and Orvis are renown for quality. Slipped a bit in this case! I cant contact the seller now as Amazon advises my return date has expired. Only had the book since December 22 and it was new then. I've tried to stick it back together with a water based adhesive but disaster! It looks a proper mess now.

Great book for the beginner or novice fly tyer. Clear and concise with great accompanying photos.

Can highly recommend this edition - Has been a huge learning curve getting into Fly fishing and tying and this book has been an invaluable resource. Easy to read and very succint directions which covers a huge amount of information. As the cover states - 'The only fly-tying handbook you'll ever need!' - couldn't agree more.
