Snacks Fiber One Protein Caramel Nut Chewy Bars, 5.85 Ounce Wrappers

Three years ago I started a weight loss journey by cutting large amounts of sugar out of my diet. With only 2 g of sugar, these are my go to breakfast bar every morning. I’ve eaten hundreds of these and I’ve only had a few bad batches and they never were sold by Amazon but typically came through the Walmart channels. These bars have fantastic flavor, and feel like a treat even though they have protein and are my breakfast supplement. I have these for breakfast, and for dessert I have fiber one brownies, which now have a new recipe and are even more moist and sort delicious. Fiber one keeps knocking it out of the park with their low sugar alternatives to dessert and protein bars. This is one of the few bars that has peanuts and not tree nuts, which is great for those who are allergic to tree nuts. Most protein bars have tree nuts of some sort, but these are safe for those who are allergic.

Tastes dry

My doctor said I needed more fiber in my diet so I went looking for some fiber bars and other items. I know Fiber One as a brand because I have had their lemon squares which are great but I ate so many, I can't bear the thought of eating more. At least not anytime soon. I found Fiber One Protein Chewy Bars, Caramel Nut. I love caramel and nuts so I gave them a try. These bars are quite tasty. They have a respectable amount of fiber in them - 5 grams - and they also have 7 grams of protein in them which is pretty rare in bar like this. They have whey protein too which is the best form. The calories are low at 140 and even the sugar is low. The bars aren't huge but they are satisfying and make a great snack in place of cookies, cake, or a candy bar. I have had no digestive upset when I ate these and I plan to order more. I will also be checking out other flavors. While these are not organic or all natural, nothing in them strikes me as terribly awful to ingest. I prefer less artificial ingredients so I took a star off but, for the price, these are a great way to add some fiber and protein to your diet in a tasty way,.

These bars taste like they have a hint of coffee flavor, really good, taste like a candy bar

I’m new to this low carb/high protein diet. So the taste of these things are just ok. It has an after taste. They are nutty. Kinda reminds me of a payday. If a person is used to not eating a lot of sugar, this is perfect. Just not for me.
