Transformers E0978 Voyager Iron hide Action Figure

Let me be clear: the asking prices for this figure are outright ludicrous, and it's an unfortunate side effect of the overall poor retail order & distribution system that plagues this hobby. Anyone who actually found this figure at retail for $30 and is now asking $60 is a scalper, and the ones who actually got their stock from Hasbro at cost are even worse for "going with the crowd" with "whatever the market will bear". So then, why did I buy this figure for $62.99? I had Amazon credit from a workplace incentive program, and Ironhide is my favorite Transformers movie universe design. I was also concerned about the price continuing to rise. If I didn't have that credit, I'd still be waiting for one to show up on Hasbro Pulse or some legitimate online retailer. That said, this is easily the best version of movie Ironhide I've encountered, and I have all versions of him going way back to the 2007 Voyager class figure. I even think he beats out the Masterpiece edition for his rock-solid robot mode. For the longest time, the old "Robot Replicas" version of Ironhide was the most accurate figure rendition, but it couldn't transform. This figure gives us that accurate sculpt, with full transformation into his GMC Topkick mode, and it's just simply brilliant in its execution. The only gripe is that bumper in robot mode, but there are 3rd party options if it really bothers you. Overall, the figure's actually worth what I "paid" for it, and the seller (REDLINEstore) did a good job in packaging it and getting it to me next-day. It's just a shame that you can't find this figure at retail for what it's supposed to cost.

First of all the details are amazing his face is so detailed & the gmc truck form is really cool, every detail is perfect, he looks like he jumped out of the movies, the quality is great & he feels very solid - totally worth the money. The perfect collectable but can still take a beating from a little kid sooooo last of all this is the perfect transformer for your TRANSFORMERS collection.

Ironhide will always be one of my favorite characters and this Ironhide will always be my favorite Ironhide. The vehicle form is good, I like Ironhide"s vehicle form being a GMC Topkick. The only problem with mine is that one of the eyes is painted blue and is bigger than the other eye.

This review is a studio series Ironhide. He is detailed and cool, but the bumpers are gray and his arms are weak, which is a fatal drawback. However, it is better than other products and there are signs of efforts to make good products by the producers. In a word, it is a really good product.

This figure is a huge improvement over other movie Ironhide figure. The chest and shoulder pieces actually tab in securely! The black plastic has a nice glossy finish to it, and overall the figure has a premium feel to it. He's become one of my favorite studio series figures.

the figure is great but has a one problem you cant really pose this figure as you want because chest is little bulky

Best Iron Hide figure I own. Package came in great condition with no sign of damage. If you’re a fan of the character, I would recommend this figure.

Bought a few trans for my nephew haven't given them to him ter since its not his birthday bit they do look really nice and they came in great condition in the original boxes.
