Great flavor and price. So convenient to buy by the case. I only wish it came with an option of NO SALT. These are very salty and require a lot of draining and rinsing. I probably won’t buy again, ONLY because of the salt content. Please make a no salt line of products!

I’ve tried many cans of black beans over the years and finally bought a can of the slightly higher priced Goya black beans to compare. Hands down these beans were SO much better. They are somewhat larger, plumper, not at all mushy and the liquid they are canned with was quite clear & easily rinsed away compared with five or six other brands I had used in the past. The appearance of the beans is important as I use them to make a warm weather black bean-corn condiment/salad with green onions, chopped red & yellow peppers, mild salsa and a generous splash of oil & vinegar Italian salad dressing. Especially good to accompany a cold supper on a warm summer evening on the deck or patio.
