This is possibly the best purchase I have made on Amazon, and I've ordered a lot. I am a crafter who can sit in one spot for hours and lose my scissors over and over and over again. Add to that I live in a multigenerational family and my grandkids are constantly "borrowing" my scissors. They are usually never seen again. I have ordered scissors of all sizes. It made no difference. Within a week or so, they disappear. I have tried putting my scissors on a string; ordering scissors with a way to hang them on my neck. Never, was I satisfied with the purchase. Out of shear frustration, I decided to search again to see if I could find decent scissors on a chain. These are perfect. The chain is secure; the scissors fit in the holder with a little snap, so they don't fall out. They have some weight to them, but not uncomfortable. The scissors are high quality with good sharpness. They cut through yarn with one snip. I love the size. They are not tiny nor are they too big to keep close to my body. I highly recommend these scissors for any crafter. I now have my scissors where I can find them, and I don't have to worry about the scissors falling out and cutting or stabbing me. Great purchase.

These are fantastic! When I wear it as a necklace I get tons of compliments. They are so pretty. That’s nice but the most important and best thing is that these guys are SHARP! They cut thread cleanly with no fraying or slipping which is so important with embroidery. They also “snap” into the sheath so they don’t fall out if turned upside down. They are the perfect size with a small precision tip. They are heavy because of the quality but not too heavy to wear as a necklace. They are comfortable on the fingers when used. I highly recommend and i am planning on getting another pair for me and then sending them as gifts to my sisters and sisters-in-law.

Idk what I expected from this unique and innovative design for scissors but I impulse bought it and I don’t regret it for a second. They’re hanging on my wall right now but I could easily wear these around my neck and not have to worry. They’re heavy and made of solid medal and somehow the scissors kinda click into the necklace which was a pleasant surprise. Yeah, it’s not a one handed grab & stab like a sword around your waist but these are scizzors, not a sword. They are easily just as sharp as a sword, but I’d much rather them feel secure around my neck and need two hands to release and replace. The last thing I need is my impulse bought necklace scissors falling out and stabbing me in the foot as they fall. Or let alone my cat! These feel super safe when I wear them and look great hanging on my wall. And they’re so friggin neat! I love them, worth every penny. Okay, I initially bought them for a new craft in my life, embroidery, and they work great for that but my kit came with scissors so I’m gonna say this was a total impulse buy haha who doesn’t need scissors tho 🤷‍♀️

These scissors are nice and sharp - perfect for snipping yarn and thread. The design is lovely. The case is a little heavy to be worn around the neck. Also I had a problem with the chain breaking the first week otherwise I would have given this 5 stars.

They are sharp and have a great period look—handy to have the case and chain, but it is heavy to wear around your neck.

Very happy with my purchase! I do a good bit of decorative stitching on my machine, as well as piecing quilt tops. These are incredibly sharp, and with the included necklace I don't have to worry about them sitting where my toddler could find them, or getting lost amid piles of patchwork on my sewing table. Similarly, the chain is long enough that you don't risk poking yourself every time you grab them/put them back. They are a bit heavy (I see this as a good sign), but the chain is well made and doesn't pull/tangle the hair on the nape of my neck. The chain attaches to two small loops on the holder via lobster clasps, so if it was too long or heavy for an older person it would be easy to replace with a ribbon. These are easily pretty and durable enough to become a sewing box heirloom. I plan to purchase another pair as a gift for my neighbor.

It's gorgeous with the beautiful Antique look And it's usable Sturdy. Made to use and enjoy . I have been looking for one of these for a vary Long time Antiques are not practical and vary costly This is a wonderful affordable solution. Vary proud of it !
