PLUG IT IN AND GO, NO APP NEEDED FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
SHOCKINGLY SIMPLE SETUP, JUST WORKS. I popped in an SD and a micro SD and my iPhone recognized it instantly through the Files app, then I could import straight into Photos if I wanted. The Lightning and USB C connectors make it travel proof since I can use it on older iPhones, iPads, and newer USB C models too. It handled 4K camera clips and RAW photos without choking, and the USB 3.0 port read a thumb drive fine. Speeds depend on your phone or tablet, but for backing up a card after a shoot this did exactly what I needed with zero fuss. HOW TO SOLVE COMMON ISSUES FAST. Insert the card first, then connect the reader, then open Files and look under Browse to copy or move. For Photos imports, a DCIM folder helps, but Files sees everything so you can copy and then Add to Photos if needed. exFAT or FAT32 cards tend to be the most reliable for iOS and iPadOS, and large capacities like 64 GB to 256 GB are fine when formatted exFAT. The USB port is for low power accessories like flash drives, not spinning hard drives. If nothing shows up, reseat the card, close and reopen Files, or reboot once. For GoPro users, copy the entire DCIM folder to keep metadata intact. Simple, reliable, and perfect for quick transfers on the go.

Perfect for what I need it for.
One of the best adapters for Mini and mircro SD cards around. With two connections including a lightning and USB C adapter this makes it easy to use on various models. Not only is the price perfectly valued but it also is a great product. This has fast transfer rates for both cell phones and laptops like my MacBook pro making it a well made and versatile product. It definitely looks durable and fits inside a small case or pocket. So if you work with media like photography or filming. Or if you just want to make space in your phones or remove old pictures. Then this product is a must buy.

Great product! I need an adapter to edit videos from my PlayStation that was on a flash drive so I got this and it worked pretty good. I think you can use this for SD cards too

Compact Dual-Port SD Card Reader for iPhone, iPad, USB-C & Lightning — All-in-One Adapter
This dual-port SD / microSD / USB reader is a solid, flexible tool for photographers, content creators, and anyone who frequently transfers files between devices. After trying out several SD card readers in search of one that balances performance and price, I found that this dual-port SD card reader (USB-C + Lightning) stands out as the best value choice. What Works Well - It supports both USB-C and Lightning connections, making it useful for iPhones, iPads, Macs, and many USB-C devices. - It accepts SD / microSD (TF) cards and USB flash drives under USB 3.0 standards (i.e. high speed) - You don’t need to install an app or driver. The device is ready to use once plugged in. - Two-way transfer: You can import from the card/USB to your iPhone/iPad, or export files from the device to the card/USB (for compatible iOS versions).

Compact and fast
I bought this SD card reader for my daughter, who insists on using her old, bargain-bin camera even though her cell phone takes photos that don’t look like they were taken during the dinosaur era. But hey, teenagers are mysterious creatures. ;) Surprisingly, this little SD card reader works perfectly. It loads her grainy, 2007-quality pictures like it’s handling professional photography. Honestly, it deserves five stars just for making her happy… and for saving me from hearing, “MOM, IT’S NOT WORKING!” every five minutes. It is compact, fast and connects well.
