24085 1/24 Mazda Eunos Roadster

This is one of the best models I’ve built! I chose to manually cut out the head lights to pop up and down otherwise they’re just a part of the body. Comes with a removable hard top also. It came out really great and I’d recommend it to any model car hobbyist!

As a Miata fan I needed this. Super easy to build and didn’t take too much time (unless you go slowly). I hope they make different models in the future. Thank you

For a 30 year old kit the molding and fit of this kit is great. Enjoyed this build very much. Simple curbside kit no engine detail. Nice subject, a great classic Japanese sports car. Has right hand drive as the only option and Japanese license plate option which I liked. If I had to do it over I would have scratch built a a mounting for the front plate, it mounts on a grove on the front bumper which looks a little odd in my opinion. I saw a photo online of a yellow one and that made my decision as to the color I chose for the build.

This is an awesome kit at an affordable price (I purchased two for around $18 - $19). The attention to detail is faithful to the car and the possibilities for custom painting are endless. Assembly instructions are adequate; you can learn a lot from other resources online if the instructions aren't clear enough or if you're new to working with model cars. The only "problem" I might have with this is the lack of pop-up headlights, which is the defining feature I adore from the NA Miata. For the price though; one shouldn't be expecting hinges or moveable parts. So 5 stars for value and quality.
