So, when I was looking for a supplier for some feather flags, I came across Anley. The reviews were very positive on Amazon (not so elsewhere, to be honest) but the price point was attractive, so I went ahead. I should say that I had some interaction with the seller direct, prior to my purchase. This proved to be an unhelpful move frankly speaking. BUT, apart from delaying things, we got there in the end. I personally found the custom tool to be clunky to use. However, if you do your own design (recommended) and upload a file orientated in the right plain and with an approx 3.25:1 ratio (height:width) you’re golden. Proofs will come with bleed lines and safe parallel lines displayed in cyan (google for an explanation). Don’t be daunted, it will all make sense. So, admin done, the flags. Absolutely amazing - really. As close to perfect as I could have imagined. The hardware that comes with the flags is far superior to what I was expecting, allowing the flags to freely rotate on a bearing to face into the prevailing wind. I cannot wait to use the flags on Sunday next. Fantastic.
