Good, for the theatrical types
You know that song... "She's A Runner, She's A TrackStar" that describes the person this purchase inspired. I am a sound engineer for church, and 1 of the ministers is quite 🤔 ANIMATED. The cameras can't keep up with him while webcasting. Handheld mics need to be held in a consistent manner...NOPE. Lapel mics make scratch/rub noises and can miss capture because of head turn. So I figured I'd try THIS mic with the tiny DJI transmitter and BINGO his voice now stays in the cross hairs.🎯. Don't be afraid to bend the unit, and definitely show the user the business end of the unit. For some, slight (tool free) adjustment might have to be done. Excellent flat sound quality that you can easily tweak to your soundscape or personal preference.

90% of sound quality of Sennheiser head mic at 5% of cost!
I own Sennheiser SL Headmic 1 which costs around $600. And was really impressed with this unit that cost only $35. Initially I was so surprised with the sound quality I started to regret spending so much money on my Sennheiser mic. After more extensive use I've kept both mics. Unlike the Sennheiser SL Headmic 1 this microphone is designed more for external sound isolation. The microphone is more sensitive than the Sennheiser microphone. So this microphone is much better than the Sennheiser SL for using in noisy situations and especially when you be projecting your voice out through loud speakers. This microphone will reduce change for feedback. So if I stopped here then this $35 microphone would seem to be better then then way more expensive Sennheiser microphone. With further use what I realize is that Sennheiser does way better in engineering the frame that holds the microphone. So when I turn my head while speaking this $35 unbranded microphone will pick up cable rubbing noises that the Sennheiser will not have. So in some of my videos that used this $35 microphone I got occasional rustling noises in the background. So now I reserve the $35 cheaper microphone for things like leading dance classes with loud music. Or doing dances classes in the outdoors with lots of external noises. For these applications this mic performs better than the way more expensive Sennheiser SL Headmic 1. Now it's true there are other Sennheiser head microphones better suited for external sound isolation but when you find out how good this mike works for only $35 it becomes a no brainer. I could spend another $500 for a higher quality head mic with better external sound isolation and no cable rustling sounds that this cheaper mic has. But in loud sound situations you almost never get to hear the cable rustling sound to make it worth spending so much more. In the loud sound situations that you would end up using this mic you won't hear this cable rustling noise. Finally, this mike gives me peace of mind in case with the rougher use while dancing and perspiring because if I mess up it's only $35. I reserve my more expensive Sennheiser SL head mic 1 for indoor only quiet applications and where invisibility of the microphone is more important.

WOrked great.
Ordered this for our Church - The pastor is really hard on microphones and I wanted to get one that was not as expensive for him to abuse. This worked great. Had great sound, seems to be rugged and fits securely. Plus it didn't cost so much that I freak out when he abuses it. Will be buying again once this one wears out. (Not because of quality, but because my Preacher it hard on these things.)

Every part is way too sensitive to touch!
We used this at our church during one of our Wednesday night prayer meetings. Our senior pastor sounded good, and there was no feedback issues at all. HOWEVER, the mic is extremely sensitive to touch. If our pastor adjusted the mic or even if the back collar of his jacket tapped the wire, then we would get a significant popping sound. We checked if our other headset mics did the same thing, and they didn't even come close to being this sensitive to touch. What a shame. We were hopeful that this would work for us. We returned it right away.

Ok product
The mike worked "ok" but was not sensitive enough.

Not really cardioid pattern though better than omni mics
These are inexpensive and do work. We wanted them for Yoga instruction where there will be numerous speakers in a room. The pickup pattern is not really as directional as we would like and the tone doesn't match more expensive headset mics but for something inexpensive and somewhat disposable, these are great and will do the job for many applications.

Headset Mic a HIT!!
I am the sound tech at a small Baptist church in Georgia. Rarely do I hear any comments, good or bad about the sound we provide for the church services. That is a good thing, because the goal of every sound person is to be invisible, not inaudible! So we bought this mike to improve the quality of sound for our pastor who had been using a lavalier, another JK product. I have had multiple positive comments about the improved volume and clarity of this new mike. It has had the most positive impact on the quality of his voice with less distortion, increased volume and improved clarity. All this at 1/10th the cost of more expensive equipment!! That is a big win for this church sound department, highly recommended to all!!

At first i was going to return it as "dead on arrival" because it would not work with a 1/4 adapter directly into mixer, or would not work directly into PC mic port, like other lapels worked. so i thought it was dead, but it worked amazing on the saramonic UwMic9 pluged in on a wireless and powerless Behringer PA system with no feedback. Quality sound for singers!
