This is a great unit. Very accurate. Large display makes it easy to see in the sun. I love that it's magnetic. The clip holds it tight when you need it, too. Holds a large charge. I used it for an 18 hole round and it's still over 3/4 battery. I really like how it links to the app and gives a GPS eagle-view visual of the hole, too. I replaced my old Golf Buddy Voice 2S+ with this. The Bushnell is more accurate, holds better battery life, and updates yardage in real-time quicker. I had the luck to play my first round with it while there was also a course provided GPS in the cart, a fellow golfer that had a hold-it-to-your-eye yardage finder, and someone that had an old school one, similar to this Bushnell model (but a different brand). They were all within a yard of each other every time.

We are no longer playing golf in NH, but I did go to my snow covered course and tried it out as best I could without actually playing. Using the yardage marker posts, I found it to be very accurate and simple to use. But not only that, the large display makes it very easy to see (much better than my old GPS). When it came to changing which hole I was on, it was very easy to operate, and fast. I didn't get a chance to use the Bushnell app on my phone (that is Bluetooth connected to it), but that looks like it will be very handy on courses that I have not yet played. BTW it charges very quickly.

This device is compact, easy to use, versatile and very accurate. It measured distances within + or - 2 yards from my brother in law's GPS watch at twice the price. For those who don't like to wear watches, while playing a round, this device is for you. I use a pushcart while playing and this GPS attaches to the bag's front pocket zipper pull and it makes it very easy to see the distance while selecting your club. It is so light weight that you could hook (included) it to you belt loop and never notice that it is attached to your pants/shorts. I would recommend this golf GPS device to anyone that wants to pinpoint their distance per club while on the course.

Overall a good unit. Does what it should and shows yardage adjusted to elevation. Big numbers easy to read love the magnet for the cart. Holds a charge for 3 rounds. Sometimes quirky working with the Bushnell app via Bluetooth. Overall a solid buy and much preferred over a yardage scope.

If you are looking for golf range meter that is simple, easy to use and doesn't cost too much, this one is great. I am a recreational golf and working on my game. I needed a device that could tell me how far to the hole from various point in the fairway and did not cost hundreds. The Bushnell Phantom 2 does this well and comes with a battery pack for charging and a handy device clip. It even have my local par 3 course in its data base.

Perfect range finder on the golf course. My buddy has a different more expensive brand that also uses a magnet to stick on the cart. Compared distances so far on 3 diffrent rounds, a couple of different course and both pretty much match distances, sometimes exactly, sometimes within 2-3 yards. I believe the bushnell is the most accurate. It also shows distances to hazards, but I haven't figured out quite how to interpret the yardage yet the way it is laid out, but not a big thing for me. This is a no brainer for the price, no need to pay more for the same info, plus it looks really nice, rather than just a black thing stuck on the cart. A colorful one will also help remind you to take it off when your round is done, beware, they are really easy to forget and leave on the cart!
