M&E maintenance engineer
Been using this for a short period ( 2 weeks I think ) and so far its impressed me. I swapped it out for my works calibrated Regin unit which costs £240, that seems to be plagued with issues regarding with water ingress around where the probes are plugged in. The Klein so far has out performed the Regin despite the cost difference. There seems to be many complaints about the belt/pocket clip, mine has been in/out of my pocket dozens of times without issue. Maybe I’m a bit more careful clipping it, but it’s been fine and I’ve had it in my pocket permanently during the 2 weeks. It’s a fraction of the size/weight of my other unit, now I carry this and a Klein 11 in 1 screwdriver which has transformed my 6 monthly temperature testing of TMV valves. I first spotted it approx 2 years ago, I wish I’d bought it sooner............

Poor design clip, unsuitable for professional use
The designer of the battery clip should hang their head in shame. It’s 50/50 chance that every time you pull this out of a workwear pocket you’ll twist the clip and the batteries fall out... not acceptable up a ladder or standing on grids where the tiny button cells will be lost. If it wasn’t for the clip I’d have given a much better review. The accuracy is ok in comparison to calibrated gear. It works well in liquids but can be slow to change in air, a few minutes in static air so it’s not a replacement for a real room temp meter. The display is small, kinda 80s digital watch size, doesn’t like viewed from an angle. It’s tiny unit, the probe is about two and a half inches long. I’m surprised at Klein, I almost laughed at the fact the belt clip/battery holder is patented, like anyone would want to copy that :) A fast reacting, sturdy and water resistant food grade thermometer with a large display and longer probe that takes more common aaa batteries would be a more rewarding to use tool.

Not good
Slow to read tempatures on off can be pressed very easily by accident and paid more for magnetic 1 and not even magnetic

Pero preciso y se le ve que puede ir al bolsillo o caja con otras herramientas que no muere de contacto

Excelente termómetro para lecturas de salida de aire en autos y minisplits por ejemplo

Any Klein tool is the best in class. It shows the temperature immediately and is extremely accurate. Obviously the best choice when buying a thermometer. Strongly recommended. It is also a good value. It is highly readable and very durable. The quality is very high. A great fit for any job.
