EyeGiene Insta-Warmth Refills

The package came in an envelope and the box inside has some damage. It says because the envelope is lighter and I assume it’s cheaper. Luckily it didn’t greatly affect the product but it was disappointing.

At last, a portable solution to applying heat to your eyelids to help when suffering from dry eye syndrome. Over the past five years plus, I have been using a product that heats your eyelids at a safe temperature. This allowed me to throw away my eyedrops with a simple application each morning for 12-minutes. The company that produced this product was purchased by a large company and this product has disappeared. Needless to say, this is an example of a large company purchasing a small one with the goal of ending this product in favor of selling their outrageously priced eye drops. Enter EyeGiene delivering a simple, compact, and effective product that has successfully replaced what I had been using. Terrific concept. You have an eye mask that you place a self-heating wafer in a pocket for each eye. These wafers start self-heating within a minute and, last about 15-minutes. The temperative is safe and effective to heat up your tear glands that are located in your eyelid. I use it for twelve minutes and then have a trouble-free day from dry eye syndrome. The pricing is reasonable and the mask and wafers are HSA eligible. Great product!

These were great to have, post eye surgery for heat compress. I purchased several boxes and all of the wafers worked well. They got so warm that I had to place a thin washcloth between my skin and mask compress.

I liked that it is portable. You don't need a microwave oven to heat it. In other products I have used, I would have to reheat the patch in the microwave to keep it warm. With Eyegiene, all you do is open the packet, pop the warmers in the eyepatch and it is ready to go! Love that! The warmers stay at the appropriate temperature throughout the required 10 minutes. No guesswork involved. My vision is clearer and my eyes are less dry after using this product. I took it on a trip with some refills, recently, and it served not only as a dry eye relief but also as a soothing, relaxing "spa" treatment. 😊. Thank you for this product!
