Easiest to clean!
This litter box is a life saver. It only takes a few minutes to sift the litter and empty into a bag, then put the top part back on and add more litter. I have two young cats that are always good about covering after they go to the bathroom but my two older cats don't do that which makes the clumping litter stick to the bottom. Especially if it's clay based. I would recommend using Arm and Hammer slide platinum litter with this as it doesn't stick like other clumping litter and saves time scooping all the way to the bottom just to get it clean. This litter box is big enough for all my cats with my biggest cat weighing about 11 pounds. I would definitely recommend this product, fair price and it's made well, 5 stars for ease of use!

Great for special needs cats
Nice color and just looks good as a litterbox lol.. it perfect for my wobbly cat because she could get in and out.. The sides are high but she still kicks the litter over the side. Maybe I need a box with a 8 inch wall ? overall its a good purchase.

The product is Awesome, The instructions are wrong.
There is serious clarification needed with this product.1) If you are going to sell a product you should really make sure that the instructions are correct. (This product lost one star because no one looked to make sure the directions were accurate.)a. there is no reason to have 2 pans if the sifter is going to go on top... duh.b. the reason you don't put the filter on top is that if the animal pees on to the litter that is directly on the sifter than the sifter is no good because now the chunks have hardened on to the sifter. The correct way for this product to work best from bottom to top is PAN, SIFTER, PAN, LID. Take the lid off, pour the first pan into the sifter, pull up the sifter, and let the clean litter fall into the clean pan. Clean the first litter box out as needed, place the sifter on that pan and the new litter pan on top of the sifter before replacing the lid.2.) This product isn't for everyone. For people who have one or two cats, this litter box is probably pointless because it takes you just as much time to clean this product as it does to clean a regular litter box. No, this product is for those people who have one or two cats shy of being referred to as crazy cat people. Those people who have 3 or more litter boxes that after you have scooped them all the cats have already started using the first or second ones you have already scooped and by the time you get up your back, knees, and nose all hate you. If I just described you then this product is the one you want. You will still need one to replace every one that you have now but they aren't that expensive and well worth it. It will take you a quarter of the time, and you'll never have to kneel down again.3.) This product works great with a great litter. There is a product out there called arm & hammer slide. If anyone has used it you know that it slips right out of the pan. So basically you put the litter from the pan into the sifter, sift it, minimal clean up on the pan and put it back together and you're done. I have 5 of these litterboxes. What used to take me 30 minutes to clean litter boxes now takes me 5. I don't waste as much litter, and therefore also don't have as much trash. For someone who fosters on a regular basis and has cats of their own this is an awesome product, especially since most foster parents don't have the kind of money to buy those automatic cleaning litter boxes.

2nd Place for Easiest to Clean
After a year's use of Van Ness CP5 Sifting Cat Pan/Litter Box, Pet Mate Arm & Hammer Large Sifting Litter Pan, and Purina Tidy Cats Breeze Cat Litter Box System and using pine pellets for kitty litter I can honestly say that Pet Mate Arm & Hammer won. It is the easiest to clean, works well, and both 1-year-old kitties like it. I love that the pellets don't get stuck in the shifting tray. I rotate the shifting tray so one end isn't touching the bottom tray, use the Purina Breeze pads on the bottom tray, shift the poop out of it every day and totally clean it out once a week. Quick and easy to clean at the end of the week. I just wish that the shifter tray was a tad sturdier and that there is more space between the top and bottom. The Van Ness came in 2nd. The pine pallets stick in the shifter tray and are a pain to remove, though easier to clean than the Breeze due to the sawdust is contained in the bottom tray. Also, the Van Ness has the same problem with sturdiness as the Pet Mate, though the Pet Mate is made a tad better. Now I have to admit that the Purina Tidy Cats Breeze Cat System has the best design since the top tray is off of the bottom tray, but it is a pain to clean. The pine pellets get stuck in the top tray and the sawdust (what happens to the pine pellets after urine touches them) is kind of a mess to clean in the bottom portion. I don't use the pull-out drawer in the Breeze system nor is it possible to use with the sawdust piling up in the bottom portion. If I could make the perfect kitty litter box to use pine pellets I would use the Pet Mates shifter holes (the pine pellets don't fall through or get stuck), the Purina Tidy Cats sturdiness, and the design to keep the top tray off of the bottom tray, and Pet Mates bottom tray with no drawer.
