This reminds me of the old Kenner playsets like the Death Star and Ewok Village from the vintage line. Well desgined and fun, faithful enough to be recognizable for what it is, but also adapted to be a nice toy for display. I have it set up in Snoke's flagship mode with figures and it makes a great display. While too old to properly play with it, my moving the figures out and checking out the action figures shows it's pretty durable. I got it about 100 bucks cheaper than it's listed price and for just under a 100 bucks this is an incredibly bargain. Definitely add this to your collection if you're an adult collector, and if you have any littles this would make a nice "big" gift for birthdays, Christmas, or other gift-giving holidays.

Pros: - Very high quality, detailed playset - High tech, kids these days really have it good... - Really keeps the kids occupied for hours upon hours Cons: - Can't really think of anything other than this uses a lot of batteries!

Kids have loved this gift so far. Not as fragile as some of the other reviews indicate. It’s been used out in the yard during a Star Wars battle and kids love it. Wish there were more big sets like this in production.

They don't make large Star Wars playlets like this very often. It's a shame because the Star Wars universe lends itself to this sort of thing. I grew up playing with the original Death Star playlet. The Death Star had an elevator, retractable bridge, rope swing, compacting trash compactor (with monster), and much more. They don't make toys like that anymore. This modern playset doesn't have as many interesting, fun, and unique features, but it is still fun to play with. I have my childhood Death Star and its original box with its original price tag. Forty years ago my parents paid less than $10 for it. This modern playest has a ridiculous retail price of $200 (although since after Christmas, Amazon has been selling it for $100). That is a lot of money for a toy. If you or your kids really like Star Wars, I would recommend it (but don't pay full price). Casual fans might want to pass on this one.

This was easy to put together and was easy for my 7yr old to open and close without destroying it. It has also been very durable and has provide my son with hours of entertainment.
