Plank and Beam is my new favorite company! I recently purchased a solid wood console table, and I couldn't be more pleased with my choice. The craftsmanship is outstanding—the table boasts a rich, beautiful finish that adds warmth and sophistication to my living space. It's refreshing to find furniture that combines quality with user-friendly assembly. All of the screws fit perfectly into the holes provided, I had zero issues putting this together. The design is both functional and beautiful. It fits perfectly in my hall, providing a convenient spot for keys and mail, while also serving as an attractive focal point. Well built and solid.

These are beautiful, light weight and made of wood (as far as I can tell). However, they are not solid wood, they are wood laminate bound together by chemicals, and the odor is very strong. I let them off gas for weeks on the porch.., but that didn't work. I sprayed them to clean but that didn't work. I then put them out in a rain storm and wiped off. Then I noticed that small parts were bubbling up, which revealed tight wood laminate that was revealing individual parts/strips. Now I know why the smell is so strong, the chemicals (glues used) must be holding it all together. I may revisit this and increase the rating if the odor completely fades, but unless this happens I'm going to have to invest more and get real solid wood for the living room and other spaces these (I bought multiple) was intended for. If you don't care about toxic odors seeping from your beautiful furniture then these are fine, but even my girlfriend said they smelled bad without me prompting her. Garage and covered deck bound for now.
