Quality Worksmenship From Base to Lip to Handle.
My God these Demeyere pans are the best things I have used. I know they cost a pretty penny, but they are worth it. Heat retention is absolutely outstanding. No discernible hot spots. Heat transfers right up the edge of the pans which means water and sauces heat faster and more evenly. And further... 1) We LOVE the smooth interior of these pans. There are no rivets or weld spots. They are perfectly impeccably engineered and constructed. This makes cleaning much easier AND getting every last drop of sauce out via a good spatula possible. 2) To my horror, food has already been burned BLACK to the bottom of the pans - TWICE (the cost of children). And both times? I got 100% of it out and they were left smooth, and sparkly silver. Even burned on oil comes off easily with Barkeepers Friend. (<- buy this stuff - DO NOT USE AJAX on these pans!!) There are only 2 things I would change about this product. 1) For this pan in particular - the 3.5 Qt Sauteuse - the lid does not fit as snug as the others. It is actually quite loose. I do not like this myself. The other pots' lids fit snug as gloves. 2) I would increase my salary so I can afford to outfit my entire kitchen all at once with these. :) Happy cooking!

Very solid choice for induction cooktops
I needed new cookware for my new induction cooktop, and had read great reviews for all of the Demeyere Atlantis pieces. While they are pricey, it turns out they work great- completely flat, and heats very evenly. This piece is large enough for cooking small batches of pasta and other large batches of things. It also has gentle curves on the bottom with no sharp corners to make it easier to stir sauces. I had read some reviews complaining about the fit of the lid, but it seems to sit just fine on top. The piece is heavy, but the plus to that is that it does not slide around on the cooktop.

Best High Quality Sauce Pan
This is my favorite sauce pan. Extremely high quality, very even heating, easily cleaned, and rivet-less construction. Blending ingredients for sauces is easier in this pan. Only negative; it is expensive.

Good size drip free pot
Good quality, well made pot. Taking out 1 star as the lid handle was scuffed and had sharp edges. Had to sand it a bit before using. Expect the quality control to be better at this price point.

It's a beautiful pan that is fit for a commercial kitchen, it will last a lifetime.

Don't trust this product, the lid supplied is too small.
The product description photos show the lid to be fully covering the full circumference of the pot from edge to edge. Whereas, the lid received in our order is too small by more than 1/4" in diameter (i.e. 1/8"+ all the way around the outer circumference). The result is that the top rattles and slips around loose. To make matters worse, forced to use USPS for return instead of having the option for Whole Foods drop-off. Avoid buying any Demeyere product from this seller because the product we received is likely one of the "Perfectly Imperfects" factory second products that Zwilling (the actual seller) is known to put on sale on their direct to consumer website from time to time. Dirty Trick!

Most versatile pan
Demeyere’s Atlantis line is sublime. The only drawback is the weight, but some may even consider that an advantage, and it comes with the territory for such fantastic cookware. This 3.5qt saucier heats very evenly and very quickly, and the size is big enough, you can cook nearly anything in it. Sure, sauces, but also one-pot meals, even small stir-fry. And with the fantastic no-river handles, cleanup is a relative breeze. It ain’t cheap, but while you do not always get what you pay for, you definitely have to pay for what you get, and Demeyere delivers across the board: easy cleanup, good looks, excellent heat distribution. What’s not to like?

Stupid Stickers That Won't Come Off
I haven't been able to use this saucier because they put unremovable product stickers on the cooking surface. The instructions say to use acetone, which I didn't have. After waiting a few days to obtain acetone, I applied it and waited for a while for the glue to dissolve. When I came back, the acetone had totally evaporated and the sticker still wouldn't budge. All of this is very inconvenient when you are looking forward to using your new cookware immediately. It's an extremely stupid and annoying decision made by the company to plaster their products with these stickers. Later on I spent several minutes again applying and wiping acetone to remove the sticker. Most of it came off, but try as I might, I absolutely cannot get the last residue of the sticker glue off the pot. I'm worried that if I cook with the residue still there, it will bake in and never come off. It doesn't ever appear to be coming off anyway, so I'm not sure what to do. I wish I would have bought a different brand.
