Men's Barstow Wedge Soft Toe Work Boots

I’ve been through my fair share of work boots, but these are in a league of their own. From the moment I put them on, I was amazed at how comfortable they felt—no breaking-in period needed! The cushioning is top-notch, providing support that lasts through 12+ hour shifts on hard surfaces. The fit is perfect, and the materials feel durable yet lightweight. Even after weeks of heavy use, my feet still feel great at the end of the day. They’ve handled everything from muddy job sites to warehouse floors without missing a beat. The first day I wore these was a heavy day at work and despite being new they broke in quickly and caused no problems. The leather is thick and pliable and the lacing allows adjustment to get the boot to conform to individual foot shapes. They have excellent under-foot cushioning and are light for as substantial as they are. Much more comfortable than Keens which seemed flimsy a couple months in; higher quality materials than Rooster (name?) brand. Leather seems pre-shaped to help it conform to the foot. Med width was too narrow & heel too wide but the wide fit my forefoot and gave enough adjustment to anchor my heel with lacing.

The leather of these boots came very soft right out of the box and required zero break-in. The back of my heels did require some break-in simply because I have not worn boots every day for a few months. That has nothing to do with the boot. The sole is very, very soft and extremely comfortable. The boot looks great in person and just like the picture. The fit is great and I used the computerized sizing that was available on the Amazon page. I'm glad I did because I was going to order a .5 size bigger and they would have been too large. The size the product page told me to order is dead on. These boots don't have an overly pronounced arch support but definitely aren't flat footed either. I recommend these boots to anyone that needs casual boots, work boots, or any person that is on their feet for long periods. They are excellent.

Had these for 4 months now and love them. They are not lined so they work out great in the south Florida heat-no foot sweat. Very cushioned shock absorbing sole. Wear them all day and no foot pain. As comfortable as my Brookes running shoes if not more so. Buy these and you will not be disppointed .

These boots fall in the lightweight end of the spectrum for a "work boot". More of a "heritage" boot at a great price. I dinged them a star because there is no liner in the shaft, and the leather is thin. This means no ankle protection. The foot bed is standard Timberland Pro, which is to say that they fit the same as their other boots. I wear the Timba Pro Pit Boss boot at work , which is why I stayed with this brand. I have a long narrow foot, and the D width works well with no heel slip. The toe box is quite roomy without the steel toe. I measure a 12 D on a Brannock device, and buy Timberland Pro boots 1/2 size smaller. The last that these boots are made on is similar to what Red Wing uses. If you can find a last which you are comfortable with, then stay with it. Lots of people live with foot pain because their shoes are the wrong shape for their feet. These boots are made from an oil tanned tumbled leather with a pebbled finish. The leather marks easily, although I haven't treated it yet. They are going to be easy to break in since the leather is thin and soft. Keep in mind that these are a $100 boot, so don't expect great leather. I like the hooks on the top two lace holes, for easy on and off. If you work around heavy metal, I would think something like the Pit Boss would be a better boot at this price point, with thicker leather, and more padding. I plan on using these boots for working around the house and going up on the roof. Flat soled boots like this give better grip on shingles, and pick up less mud. I will probably be spending time on my hands and knees, so I ditched the steel toes. Bottom line, TLP Barstow boots are good at the price point. They fit like I expected, and are comfy out of the box. The sole and foot bed are better than most budget boots. They look good too.

Liked the boots; however they were 1/2 size too large

I wear a 13, and these are the largest pair of boots I've purchased to date. If you have wider than average ankles , wider than average feet, and thicker than average feet, or if you wear really thick and heavy wool socks these would be a good fit, but for average feet they're big. I wear Bates Lites and Asolo heavy hiking boots in 13 and both are snug on me. Build quality is good, the leather looks nice and feels good quality, the stitching is well done, and the insole is fairly comfortable. Not the best insole, but serviceable for sure. They feel heavy, they are work boots so it's expected to some degree, but the fact that they're on the loose side makes it more noticeable. The tread isn't bad, they're not hiking boots so it's not aggressive, but it's enough to feel secure on flatter or damp surfaces. Overall they're not bad, but a bit heavy for going up and down ladders or walking a lot of distance. Standing in place they do look nice and are comfortable.

Very much like Thorogoods. Pretty old school. Leather (thick) and a sole. I love these. Sole is very comfortable, firm but soft. Leather is soft so it’s as if they’re already broke in. My feet are roughly 11-11.5 inches long and 4-4.5 inches wide at the widest point. A 10.5 wide is a great fit with just a little room if you wore thicker socks in the winter. Size 10 was just barely too short. I would own several pair if I needed to.

Very comfortable boot for urban spaces. Big spongy wedge sole and great for walking and standing. This is not a boot for climbing mountains as the lugs are shallow. Would be perfect for factory or warehouse work. I wear these daily in the city. They run about a half size long. Boots get a lot of compliments and I expect the leather will last a long time - boots will need to be resoled before the upper wears out.

Very large wide fit

Fantastic boots for the price. No break in period. I wear all day as a technician. No more sore feet. Probably the best pair of Timberlands yet. This is my fourth pair.
