My prior horn was a Selmer Mark 6 tenor, that was over 30 years ago. when I looked at this horn on line and the price I must confess I was not expecting to be as well made as it is. the workmanship is excellent including fit and finish and there is no reason that it should not last for many years. the pads have resonators on them adding to the horns tone brilliance and although this is new, the the keys are relatively smooth and should loosen up over time. Because this is a "student instrument" the mouth peace's lay is very conservative and you my benefit your playing stile as you advance to a upgraded mouth peace, such as a Burg Larson, Yamaha or Selmer. Investing in a Hard Rubber mouth peace will prove to be a good decision when taking into consideration the possibility "they may drop it. If you are contemplating purchasing this instrument I would highly recommend it, It's well worth the investment and although heaver the "Brass" model will be more forgiving to ruff handling than the copper/brass platted model.

This is a great beginner's sax. Beautiful sound and engravings. Very nice for the money.

Arrived quickly, perfect for a beginner, my new player is making some nice music with it.

clean sound handles well

Good quality in my opinion. Good price and appropriate for my 11-year-old to use for her first year in band. The weight is not light so I think that shows it is well made. She played it and thankfully sound came out.

Got many items that would have costed a lot money for s small price.
