Ultra For Balloons - 5oz (Includes Pump)

Planned to fill a number of latex balloons with helium for a birthday party, but didn't want to risk them to go down before it started! Bought this solution with the optimism that the balloons would last the night, and they did! More than just the night. They were blown up on Saturday at 1pm and only started lowering from the ceiling on a Wednesday afternoon. Solution was easy to apply. Based on previous reviews, I tried to get an evening application of the solution inside the balloon and waited 5 mins before inflating them. I would recommend not getting the gel too near the neck of the balloon otherwise it'll get squeezed out when tying the knot, and cover your hands, making them slippery - making it harder to tie a knot in the balloon! If the balloons pop shortly after inflation, the solution/gel does scatter over furniture and clothing! Though it's sticky to touch, and sets quite hard, it's easy to get off clothing and your hands with water. I only used half of the solution for ~20x 9" latex balloons so have plenty left for the next event. Would definitely buy again.

Works well to extend life of 260 modelling balloons. Major difference after one week, photo shows difference between treated and untreated after 10 weeks in dark cool room. Only use a small pea sized amount (use childs paracetamol doser)

Works great with the balloons

Bought this as we were throwing a 21st birthday party and wanted our balloon decorations to retain the helium for the duration of the party. The product was easy to use as a pump is provided with the bottle. A couple of balloons did pop during inflation but while sticky to touch, did not spray everywhere as that will have created a much bigger problem!! The balloons retained float for longer than we anticipated with Hifloat, as they were still inflated and floating several days after the event. Recommend this if you prefer to be prepared in advance of an event

Exactly what I needed to help keep my balloons up longer. Great value for money and did exactly as many balloons as it said. Definitely worth buying if doing your own helium balloons. Easy to use when following directions.

Hi-float is amazing! Unsure why anyone has struggled to use it as it’s quite easy. Indeed, it can be messy if you use too much but this only happened a couple of times for me. I trialled balloons with and without the product and the balloon using Hi-float lasted some 6 days before going down. I was able to inflate some ceiling balloons for my daughter the night before her birthday and they are all up 4 days later (photo). There were two that fell straight to the ground after adding the helium but by the morning, they rose to join the others - I believe I just used a little too much of the product. My tip is to massage the solution well and evenly in the balloon (I did this 5 or so minutes before adding helium) and definitely avoid the neck if you don’t want sticky hands! I’ve already bought a 2nd bottle for when I need it. Totally recommend it.

Wir haben das Gel für die Luftballons, welche wir als Dekoration an unserer Hochzeit genutzt haben, gebraucht. An jedem Stuhl der Gäste während der Trauung war ein schwebender Luftballon angebracht. Wir hatten uns vorher in einem Partyladen beraten lassen und die Verkäuferin hatte uns gesagt, dass es recht wahrscheinlich ist, dass die Luftballons nur etwa einen Tag fliegen werden, wenn man sie lediglich mit Helium füllt. Da wir bereits am Mittag der Vortages die Location dekoriert haben und die Luftballons ja bis in die späten Abendstunden der Feier am Folgetag fliegen sollten, haben wir uns für dickere Luftballons und dieses Gel entschieden. Die Anwendung ist sehr einfach: mit dem Applikator am Spender haben wir etwa zwei erbsengroße Tropfen des Gels in den Luftballon gegeben und dieses auf der Innenseite "einmassiert". Anschließend haben wir die Ballons normal mit Helium gefüllt und verschlossen. Die Ballons haben alle bei uns den kompletten Hochzeitstag durchgehalten und einige sind sogar am darauffolgenden Tag beim Abbau noch geflogen. Testweise hatten wir mehrere normale Ballons ohne das Gel mit Helium gefüllt. Diese schwebten schon am Morgen der Hochzeit nur noch auf halber Höhe. Absolute Empfehlung wenn Ballons längere Zeit fliegen sollen!

Die Latexballons schweben bereits den 3ten Tag ohne nachzulassen! Wir haben 30cm Luftballons mit einem halben Pumpstoß befüllt, weil die Ersten zu schwer wurden und wir die Ballons nur zu 90% aufgeblasen haben. Ich bin echt erstaunt!
