First time trying tie-dye, chose this kit because the low water usage. We got this kit and another of the same brand in different colors (3 bottles in each kit) with the intention of doing six XXL t-shirts. This is advertised as "up to 12 shirts", and taking the size of the XXL shirts into consideration, I figured that two kits would be fine. After watching the Youtube videos from this company, we set out (we ended up using zip ties instead of rubber bands) and realized after the first two shirts that we were going to run out, and we did. The last two shirts received minimal dye. In retrospect, I should have diluted the dye after the realization set in, and that would have extended the amount of dye we had. The quality of the product is good. The colors in both kits were very nice and what was expected, and because these haven't been washed yet, I'll edit in a comment on color steadfastness if it fades quickly. Otherwise, figure that the colors stayed in after washing. These come in little pump bottles. Our pumping fingers became tired after awhile; not a negative towards the product but just an observation. the over-spray was a bit hard to control, but with more experience, I'd be better with it. This will not produce the massive blocks of colors that some shirts have. On ours, there is a lot of white from the shirts showing, so the tie dye is like a painting on a white canvas. This is not a bad thing, and we like how these came out, but it wasn't what we were looking for or expecting. They will get a lot of wear, but on the next one, we'll go with the catsup style bottle dye to more fully soak the fabric. Overall, easy to use, minimal mess, will give interesting patterns, should get @ 6 small-ish sized shirts out of it, and can be used on dry shirts.

Easy for my 4 and 7 year old to use. Wet the shirt for a more watercolor affect, or don't wet the shirt for a spray paint effect. Make sure you dry the shirts in the dryer or with a hair dryer before rinsing.

These worked very well, though not perfectly. As expected, the colors are not as vibrant after the first wash, but still very clear and colorful. Just go into the project knowing the colors may not be exactly how they first look. The other problem I had with this product: They say you need to iron whatever you're dying (or "heat sealing" I think it said, but it recommended ironing) after it dries, but before the first wash. I let mine dry completely, and then went to iron it. When I was finished, I was left with a film of ink on the surface of my iron that, while not impossible, was very difficult to remove (I used some Lysol wipes). Great dye, somewhat difficult process.

Granddaughter loves it

I was very excited to find earth tones, green, brown and black. I quickly decided to remove the sprayer and just dump the dye, they sprayer spread it too wide. The colors looked great until I rinsed them. The brown turned into a pinkish burgundy. Not a great camo look! I do not recommend this product.

Bought these and another set for my sons sleepover birthday party activity. They were great! Easy for the kids (aged around 9-10) to handle, and a lovely range of bright, bold colours. Great clear instructions with them with a variety of decorative ideas for the kids to choose from - some chose to do the more traditional tie-dye or scrunch methods, others chose to use some home-made templates, but all looked great, and best of all, still look great 2 or 3 washes later! Would highly recommend, both for ease of use, and colour fastness!

Slightly longer process than your average dye but its really worth it for the end result. Cant wait until it is back in stock

No lo recomiendo para un uso profesional. ¡Leeros las instrucciones antes de comenzar, no olvidéis planchar antes de lavar! A mi me dio para 3 camisetas un kit, me tiene bastante descontenta, el tinte no es muy duradero, pero para echar un rato con los peques es perfecto.
