Not sure about other countries however just received rain gauge today and I confirm its plastic!! If I had of know that I would have purchased a cheaper one elsewhere!!! Some other reviewers may have been lucky and received glass, beware you will most likely get cheap plastic!! SO disappointing!

I love this rain gauge. I put this on a post in my garden. It's very easy to read and held up well this summer. I put it away in the Fall when the temps got close to freezing. It still looks brand new and the markings are still bright.
