With the disappearance of Runts from the market, finding an acceptable substitute has been difficult. These are not Runts, by any stretch. But they aren't bad at all. True, the flavors are different, and the texture is softer than a Runt, and the bananas are smaller. The people complaining about the smell may have been smelling the bag or the air from around the bagging machine when it was sealed. I opened mine and smelled it to. Then I waited a few minutes and smelled again - no particular odor announced itself. The flavors are different - the watermelon is just strange and doesn't taste at all like watermelon to me, but it's not a bad flavor even then. So, if you can give up your perception of what a Runt tastes like and don't apply it to these candies, you'll probably like them. And yes, I want my Runts! Until then, these are reasonably tasty.

Have long been a wonka runts fan for a long time and someone at work mentioned them and haven't had for a very long time. Decided to go find some and they were out everywhere and then I found these. After reading the reviews I figured they can't be that bad and would atleast give them a try. Got them today and tried a few and couldn't agree more then to stay away from these. They are awful and the taste is horrible. There is this weird chemical taste to a few of them and it was nothing fruit flavored about them at all. The banana one was almost bareable but still horrible. Wouldn't recommend to anyone and to find out can't even do a refund on them. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND AVOID!

To me - they don't taste like runts that have been around (or willy Wonka runts) - could be just oddly tasting to those I brought for. But the amount and quality is good for the price.

Put 2 lbs in my gumball machine. Fit perfectly, that's what she said. Had to change my phone number and mailing address because they were on my tail which was flooding my lifestyle and needless to say was overwhelming. I used to be bald. After conquering the Ghostbusters reboot with the ladies, you know the one, with a full head of hair keeping me warm in I finally told myself I AM worth it Mom! Felt good to get it out, but i have to say the runs from taco bell did they're job. Oh yeah, I highly recommend this product. 👌

I can’t find these anywhere today in the stores. Amazon is the only place to get them and they did not disappoint!
