Ascensia MICROLET Next Adjustable Lancing Device, 5 Depth Settings

Works as advertised.

My old lancing device had broken while I was on vacation. I ordered the Microlet Next as a replacement. I love it! The design has a locking feature to take the top on and off. It also has an eject button for releasing the lancer after you are done. My prior device did not have that feature which is why I broke it trying to pull the lancet out. I just purchased two more of the Microlet Next devices to keep on hand. I have been diabetic for over 20 years and this is the best device I have seen on the market.

I use this once per day and it works, for how long I cant foresee. The spring on the previous lancet stick broke after six weeks. Damn things are expensive and customer service is a joke.

I have very small fingers with no callouses on the tips. Most lancing devices penetrated deeply enough in my fingers to bruise and cause significant pain, but this one in particular has the most shallow setting I've tried. I can even use it on the sides of my fingers to prevent pain and still get satisfactory samples for my glucose meter. This may also come in handy for children or the elderly with thin skin or sensitive fingers.

This is an easy to use lancing device and hurts less than the others I've used.

This did not arrive in the box as advertised. It did not include a lancet as pictured. It arrived in a plastic sleeve with no instructions. This is completely useless as-is.
