Easy to use, good value for money, accurate and helpful testing my main water ph before installing the purifier filter in my house.

Completely inaccurate, when set up and calibrated, it shows tap water to be 2.5pH = ACID!!! Save yourself the hassle of returning it by NEVER ordering in the first place!

I got this for homebrew. It's very useful to know the PH of beers and wines before fermentation, during, and after. It helps to ensure rapid brewing and also troubleshooting problems. This is very easy to use. It comes with batteries installed. There's no assembly required. Just remove the lid and power on. The. Dip and swirl in a solution for roughly 30 seconds or until the reading stabilises. Then when done jut rinse and clean the points. It's easy to read. You get a digital read out with backlight. Build quality is good for the price. It's not the most robust. But fine for home use or a one off. Accuracy is ok. It takes a while to get a reading, but if you are worried they do include a calibration kit consisting of 3 different sachets that make specific ph fluids I used this to monitor mead, and beer homebrew and adjust my acidity for best fermentation and flavour. Straight out of the box, just getting random numbers flashing on the screen, terrible purchase

i tested my tap water and the screen is flickering on its first use like the batteries are low or something

I wanted to try a pH probe to check the acidity and alkalinity of common household drinks like water, coffee etc.. Though this is a basic unit, it gets the readings close enough and suits my needs.
