A Perfect Match for my .40 S&W Pistol at an Incredible Price Point!
Wow! I wasn't sure what to expect for the relatively low price of this laser/light combo. However, having just installed it on my Taurus TH40, I must say that I'm duly impressed with its functionality and apparent build quality. (I HAVE NOT YET fired the pistol with this light attached however.) I'm presuming, based on the nearly 5-star rating, that the light falling off the gun is not a common issue. The green laser is quite bright and at a nice size on target. The very white light is plenty bright enough for my intended home defense and camping purposes and as a bonus, the unit looks like it was built specifically for my pistol. Same shade of color and a nicely conforming fit that makes it look like it was made for the TH40. In addition, the TH40 has memory pads on the slide for your thumb and as it happens, the memory pads are positioned exactly above the light's activation switches. So, it's a very short, smooth and instinctive movement to transition your thumb from the memory pad to activate the light -- further anchoring the custom look, feel and ergonomics aspect of this light on a TH40. It was a breeze to attach to the gun and then zero the laser onto a certain aiming point - at about 10 yards. I know this unit is not a professional grade laser/gun light, but for my needs, it seems to be a very impressive unit, and the great price is a huge value bonus! UPDATE: Tried the light/laser last night. OMG! Outstanding performance! I'm blown-away by this unit's performance - and for $32. bucks (black Friday pricing). The green laser easily green-dotted a palm tree over 150 yards away. The white light out-shined my $149.00 super flashlight light I purchased from Streamlight. I'm a happy camper!

A great value light/flashlight combo for your pistol or rifle/shotgun.
These fit on either your Glock or striker-type pistols. The price is right and the laser and light punch much higher for their price. Light is strong, laser is visible during the day, it has a universal charging plug (USB-C), has lights to tell you if the battery is getting low. I use them on shotguns and rifles and the hold zero just fine, even when using them with 12 gauge shotguns. I even like the Darkfang more than my Olight Baldr Pro, which is saying a lot because that light is excellent.

TLDR; excellent option for home defense pistol!
The light is very bright, though it doesn't cast a uniform beam. The laser can easily get lost at 10 yards, in the sun. Indoors, the laser is fine (was only able to test up to 15 yards). The body of the light is plastic, but I dropped it a few times in rocks/dirt and it had no damage/issues. LOVE the ambidextrous controls, especially the fact that you can tap & hold or tap & release to leave the light on. After 300 rounds(9mm/115gr) the laser held zero and the clamp stayed tight. Short-term durability seems great, we'll have to see how long it holds up. Slight con: you've got to use your other hand to switch between light/laser/laser & light. Slight con: does not match well known light footprints, so you will have to get a custom holster for your pistol.

Beats spending $ on a higher name brand
$20 Budget light works well for mounting on most of my small arms. This light is standard to be compatible with any compact pistols up to Full size ones. Lighting range clear of 50-80 feet especially when in a dark terrain. However, not really thinking it’s illuminating at 1500 lum but definitely 1000 or so..Just out of eagerness I purchased two because cannot go wrong with a backup! Pros: Budget friendly, shines brightly, easy to assemble and mount, type-C charging port, light weight, overall fits most common lower receivers/frames/picatinny rails (etc.) Cons: The durability of the polymer material finish will scratch easily, the lens could be built with stronger glass, after a 5-10 min time span of operation the frame of the light gives off heavy warmth that you can feel at your finger tips resting on the trigger guard. But I mean $20 imported, cannot beat it. **Just throwing my two-cents here with a helpful tip (For long term stowage in safes or cases I recommend medium-strength loc-tite or an adhesive just as capable to crust over the fitting, for extra durability.) I’ve definitely got my Money’s-worth, then again it’s up to the consumer if you want to pay 10x’s more for a TLR or Holosun be my guess! Lol that money saved is being put towards more mags/ammo/ safety gear!! Best of luck if this review could be helpful to someone else.

Can't beat it for $20.
I have been messing around with the cheap Chinese lights recently. There are some intriguing options out there, none of which I would use for carry or duty. However, Something like a pistol that sits on a night stand, a .22 or even airsoft, these lights are awesome. In my case I use this on my older Canik TP9 SFX. Those guns were notorious for having out of spec rails and mine is no different. This fits the rail perfectly. It is rather large but it is also super bright. It feels solid enough and for as big as it is, it even hilariously fits on my APX A1 Compact. For $20 for the non-laser version it is no brainer for non-carry/duty use.

Great product. Great price.
Great product. Light is very bright. I installed it on my Ruger RXM very easily. Very easy to use. The only thing I would say is it’s difficult to see the red laser with the flashlight.

It’s a great light for the price, i mounted the darkfang light on my 9mm XD.i really enjoyed the feel and strong the light was until i Ran about 100 rounds through it and it started to come apart. I wish it was more durable Would be great for airsoft guns!
