There is no perfect sun hood for the RC2 controller. Can’t be as it would need to have a completely enclosed viewing area! So any hood is a compromise and this one is IMO the best that is on sale today. Why do I say this? It is easy to fit with little hand tightened screws for fixing it. It doesn’t cover the whole of the controller which others do so joysticks and buttons are not affected. It has the extra “flap” which should help with keeping the sun off the screen. And it comes with a little wrench for adjusting the torque of the hinges. And lastly it is so slim that it still fits inside my fitted case. A great and inexpensive accessory.

New Mini Pro 5 with RC2 arrived day after I got this kit. Have tried a few sunshades on prev drones and been v underwhelmed. Once drone arrived I fitted this one straight away. Fit is really excellent. Screen protector is perfect size and easy to fit, no issues. The actually sunshade is the same type of quality as the DJI kit… ie excellent. So good it actually feels OEM. It covers the sticks when closed and removes the hassle of removing / losing them when stored. In terms of sun protection, I will await some decent sunshine in the UK to finally judge it, but from initial testing I’d expect it to be perfect. Had a small insignificant issue on arrival… contacted the supplier who couldn’t have been more helpful. Def a company I’d recommend and return to for any of their products. If you have an RC2 and fly outside (who doesn’t !) during the day… get one of these. Worth every penny.

I'm a little puzzled by some of the reviews saying this isn't a great fit. Mine fits my DJI Mini 4 Pro perfectly without the need for any forcefullness - just ensure you open up the antennas before you attempt to fit it. (I don't know for certain, but I believe this visor will NOT fit the DJI Mini 3 Pro) The little knurled screws align perfectly with the holes on the RC2. Don't overtighten these just nip them up firmly, and be mindeful that youre screwing them into a threaded insert in plastic - overtightening could pull the insert out. The screwdriver that comes with the visor, is for adjusting the friction on the hinges. I gently tightened mine as I felt they needed to be a little bit stiffer. The quality of the plastic is good but this is thin plastic to keep bulkiness and weight to a minimum, so treat with respect and there is no reason at all that this should break. I was actually surprised at how good this visor is. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation - Yes. It gives good shade and does not impede any operation of the RC2 that I can tell. It fits into the standard DJI carrying bag WITHOUT the need to remove the joysticks. All in all, I'm very happy with this shade, and felt that it was slightly cheaper with its added additional fold out 'shade' than others out there that don't have that feature.

Don't bother with glare reduction screen savers, buy this! The magnetic hood that clips on is a stroke of genius. I particularly like the fact you do not have to remove the joysticks as the lid protects them as well as the screen. One thing to note however. When opening the main plastic hood, it does try to unclip from the body of the remote. Just hold the hinge and open the hood with your thumb. All good. Could be a bit more sturdily attached but its workable. Just don't throw your re,mote around 😂

Works as intended, the screen is nicely protected and the magnetic sun screen is held securely in place, well worth the price to be able to protect my RC2 controller. I love the fact I can leave my sticks on the controller.

Excellent, I have tried multiple shades for the RC two controller, but this is by far the best. It fits snuggly it’s magnetic and it can be removed or added very quickly.

Good product , does what it says , blocks sunlight out on screen , fits perfectly , and great for leaving control sticks on .Only slight criticism is , just be careful when opening as it seems a bit flimsy at top so have to hold down , as its made to measure cant see a way of strengthening it so just get used to being careful, other than than that great product .

I was a bit dubious purchasing this, but actually it works really well, so easy to fit and actually protects the whole screen when in storage. It also always you just to leave the control knobs on rather than have to take them off to store controller. I’m surprised dji don’t make this as standard. Great quality and value for money

Awesome. Well packaged, well made, Could be an original DJI product as it looks and feels to match the DJI RC2 controller size and color.

When I saw the FPVtosky RC 2 sun hood I was pretty skeptical. There were no reviews and it looked almost too good to be true. I studied the video, studied the pictures, and read what I could find about it. So at a reasonable cost I decided to take a chance and give this thing a try. All I can say is WOW! This thing does a great job in sun protection for better screen viewing. The little front rectangular flap is very beneficial as well, and can easily be adjusted as needed. The hood fits like a glove and serves as a great screen and joystick protector when all closed up. The antennas remain outside the hood, and they remain unobstructed by the hood. I was a little concerned that the hood might interfere with the RC 2 heatsink, but it does not. I use a neck strap, and there isn’t any interference there either. While this product is pretty light yet sturdy, it does introduce a slightly different feel to the controller. It does not interfere with any of the control functions, however, so overall I give it a solid 5 STARS. This product is specifically made for a RC 2 controller and adds very little bulk to the overall size. However, if you already have a case to hold your RC 2, you might want to investigate to see if it will fit with the addition of this hood.

Me ha sorprendido cómo cambia la experiencia de uso del mando con este kit. No sabía que existía una solución así para el problema del reflejo de luz en la pantalla del mando, hasta que descubrí esta carcaza. Ahora lo considero un complemento imprescindible.
