Coolifepro Night Vision Goggles

The Coolifepro Night Vision Goggles, 4K, have totally exceeded my expectations. All I wanted, was a basic set of night vision goggles, to satisfy my curiosity whenever there are noises in the woodland/forests near my motorhome camps. But these are brilliant! They are set at 10x optical magnification at F1.55, with a 25mm, 12 degree lens, and 8x digital magnification. The screen is 2.4 inch with several levels of brightness. But right out the box, the default brightness is perfect at night. The infrared light is 3 Watts, with 7 power levels (and off). But you would have to be looking way into the distance, to need anything above level 1. There is a manual focus, which I found to be good from 5ft to infinity. The clarity at night is very impressive. In pitch darkness, these goggles let you see everything perfectly. The infrared light is quite wide angle, so everything on the screen appears uniformly lit. Video recording and photos are equally impressive. So rather than just see two ghostly eyes staring at you from the trees, as you do with a normal torch. With these night vision goggles, you can see (and record) the animals going about their business. Better still, is underneath the goggles, right by where your thumbs sit, is a slider switch which turns on a standard torch light. The beam is coming through the same lens as the infrared illuminator, so the pattern is round, quite tight, and I would say about 100 lumens brightness. Which is more than enough to see by. The best part of these goggles, is that they are not a one trick pony. During daylight, they switch to 4K colour, so you can use them for anything that you would use a digital camera for. That is why they come with a sunshade around the screen, and the screen brightness can be adjusted. Colour video and stills are very impressive. The goggles come with everything you need, mine even came fully charged. The only caution is that the instructions mention not overcharging the internal battery. That was either Coolifepro covering themselves, or possibly the goggles do not have a battery monitoring system, which I would guess they do! have, because the instructions say that you can use the video camera while charging. I'm airing on the side of caution and unplugging the goggles as soon as they show 100% charge. You just tap the power button, and the screen will show a graphic of the battery and its state of charge for a few seconds. Coolifepro really are giving you incredible value for money with these goggles. They have even added a few 'icing on the cake' features, like a (Coolifepro) branded 32GB micro SD memory card (the goggles support up to 128GB), a standard brass tripod mounting screw on the base (by the torch switch), and they have not even cheaped-out on the screen, as it is IPS, not LCD. For anyone that does not know why that is a great feature, it is because IPS screens have the widest viewing angles, and tend to only be found on higher value PC monitors/laptops. The final tick in the box for these goggles, is that Coolifepro have not been tempted to spray them in the God-awful rubberised paint, that so many devices are covered in these days, as it degrades over time, and becomes sticky. The plastics used seem thick and good quality, especially the two neck strap anchors, and the goggles have weight to them, but are not heavy. There is a cotton/velvet soft bag for storage. If all you need is a basic set of night vision goggles, I cannot find any down sides to these, other than the fixed magnification lens, and the fact that there is no filter over the infrared illuminator lens, so anyone looking back at you, will see a brightish red dot. But those are far from deal breakers. Recommended.

It’s great an works really well

One good point. It's cheap. That's it. Build quality is not great. For example, the cover for the charging port and TF card is hard to open and next to impossible to keep shut afterwards. But the real problem is the terrible optical quality. Images in bright daylight are blurry and foggy. At night, they are worse. The edge distortion is awful. The stated range for night vision is optimistic. As a toy or something for fun use it might be okay. For anything else, not recommended.

I bought these because I wanted a pair of digital binoculars that would fit in my pocket and not be to cumbersome when using. They are perfect size wise and very easy to use, the charge seems to last enough to take out on a days outing. The quality of the picture in 1x zoom is exceptional but you need to practice focusing the lens. I tend to take a couple of the same shots and tweak the focus, in time I will get better at focusing. When zooming in at the full 8 times zoom in photo mode the picture can be blocky so again try to back the zoom off a couple of stops and get closer to your subject. The video mode requires a steady hand or a tripod or monopod but again don't expect cinema quality but still not bad. The night time mode is excellent in both movie and still and great out at night. I haven't had chance to try pics of the moon or fireworks etc but for the price these are a exceptional bit of kit and you can fit them in a pocket and take them anywhere.

Easy to use, good screen, focuses easy. Night vision very good. Photo and video quality very good. Has connection for tripod to base. Which isn’t in the description. For the price I was surprised with the photo quality. Good value for money.

I recently purchased these night vision goggles with 8x zoom, and I am thoroughly impressed! The image clarity is outstanding, even in total darkness. The 8x zoom is a game-changer, allowing me to see distant objects with remarkable detail. These goggles are comfortable to wear and easy to operate. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable night vision!

Daughters birthday gift. Is using them this weekend bit has had a try and reports they are good!

In una scatolina di cartone personalizzata e quindi in una custodia in morbido tessuto si riceve il binocolo a visione notturna. La dotazione comprende, oltre al binocolo, una scheda SD da 32Gb, un cordino con due moschettoni, un cavo USB, una pinzetta con punte sottili, il manuale istruzioni ed un sacchetto in tessuto. Molto comodo il sacchetto in morbido tessuto, ottimo per il trasporto del binocolo evitando rischi di danneggiamento. Il manuale istruzioni risulta multilingua e contiene anche l'italiano, non tradotto benissimo ma comprensibile, l'uso del binocolo è garantito, e semplice. Il binocolo è provvisto di due apposite asole, ai lati, a cui connettere il cordino fornito di moschettoni, in questo modo si può indossare questo binocolo in modo classico al collo. Lo schermo da 2,4", anche se piccolino, è ben visibile, luminoso e con una buona definizione, inoltre è possibile selezionare 7 intensità luminose. I comandi sul dorso del binocolo sono di facile e pratico utilizzo, con le funzioni di zoom, selezione della modalità visione notturna, scatto, o avvio registrazione, selezione della modalità e infine accensione e spegnimento. In un lato un buon coperchio di gomma semi rigida copre lo slot per la scheda SD e la porta di ricarica USB C, pratica perché permette la ricarica dalle più svariate fonti con il cavo fornito. Ottima la ghiera standard fotografico a vite per montare su cavalletti fotografici il binocolo, eccellente per riprese video notturne o scatti molto nitidi. Nella parte frontale due unità, che sembrano due oculari da binocolo hanno in effetti funzioni differenti, una è fissa ed è la lente di concentrazione della luce che funge da torcia o dell'illuminatore infrarosso, mentre l'altra unità è la ghiera di messa a fuoco manuale della camera che compone il binocolo. Vista la funzione principale della visione notturna ovviamente non poteva essere provvisto un fuoco automatico, quindi la ghiera citata ovvia alla questione, ho testato la minima distanza di messa a fuoco ed è risultata +/- di 30/40 cm. Molte le possibili modifiche di configurazione accedendo ad un menù a schermo per la configurazione. Molte le funzioni accessorie, tipo, la registrazione in loop a durata regolabile, ottima per osservazione naturalistica per catturare eventi sporadici, regolazione velocità riprese video, normale, veloce, lenta, possibilità di time lapse, possibilità di operare anche mentre connessa a fonte di alimentazione. Un LED segnala la ricarica in corso con luce di colore rosso che si spegne a carica ultimata. Il cavo USB A -> USB C fornito serve sia per la ricarica che per il trasferimento dati, non serve estrarre la scheda SD per gestire le foto e video registrati, è sufficiente collegare il binocolo al computer e verrà vista come unità di memorizzazione esterna USB. Piena compatibilità con sistema operativo Linux, io l'ho connessa al mio portatile Dell con OpenSUSE 15.6 e l'ha vista senza nessun problema e con la piena gestione dei file registrati. Le ultime due foto che ho pubblicato sono registrate dal binocolo, la prima una foto a visione notturna, in condizione di buio completo, io la gattina ad occhio nudo non la vedevo, la seconda una foto di giorno ma controluce. Lo zoom è digitale, e come ogni zoom digitale tende a peggiorare la resa di foto e video, ma comunque si comporta piuttosto bene, è comunque di buona qualità. Un prodotto che mi ha stupefatto, che ha superato le mie aspettative, anche se appare, a prima vista, poco più di un giocattolo, si rivela invece molto più professionale di quanto non ci si aspetti, un prodotto robusto, ben fatto, potente e con una resa ottima, non eccellente, ma decisamente ottima e adatta alle più svariate situazione, ne sono molto soddisfatto, soprattutto risulta ben pensato nelle sue funzionalità mirate all'osservazione naturale. Direi che l'attuale prezzo, € 69,99, è più che adatto ad un prodotto con una resa così buona e ottime funzionalità.

Den duger till nattjakt på vildsvin men hade önskat mera zoom. Lätthanterlig. Men med tanke på priset helt ok.
