Works Great. MacOS and Windows Compatible.
Bought this to use with my government id smart card and it worked great. Tested it with the Portuguese and Italian ones and I can confirm it works with both - probably with others too. You connect it and it's immediately recognised. You do need to download the app from your card issuer, so if it's not working straight away after that just do the standard unplug and plug again and you're ready to go. Safe, inexpensive and extremely useful.

Prodotto davvero eccellente ma attenzione: non ha alcun CD annesso per il suo effettivo utilizzo. Per l'hardware non c'è problema, il sistema operativo lo riconosce subito; quanto al software, questo occorre scaricarlo a parte a seconda di cosa si voglia usare e dai siti (anche istituzionali) che ne consentono il download. Legge le CNS (Carte nazionali servizi, quali ad esempio la carta del Codice Fiscale purché con il micochip incorporato) ma non legge le CIE (cioè le carte di identità elettroniche). Ottimo prodotto, ottimo il prezzo.

Se lo compré a mi padre con un poco de miedo por dos motivos: 1) Yo tengo uno (otro modelo) e instalarlo fue un verdadero infierno y 2) Mi padre usa Windows 7 (yo también) y estos dispositivos a menudo dan problemas con este S.O. La instalación fue todo lo sencilla que puede ser con un aparato de estos (otra cosa es lo difícil que lo hace la Policía Nacional o el Estado) y, la verdad, funciona perfectamente. El uso tras instalarlo también es fácil. La única recomendación por mi parte es no dejar el dispositivo puesto en el USB si no se está usando.
